Small Towns in Udon Thani, Northeast Thailand | Ban Nong Bo & Ban Mu Mon
Ban Nong Bo and Ban Mu Mon both are tranquil towns in Mu Mon sub-district in Mueang Udon Thani District in Udon Thani, Thailand. Here are good places to get local food and scenery that is barely seen in the city. I'm proud to share this experience with you, hope you like it!
I've shown you tourist attractions in Udon Thani. Today, I'd love to show you other parts in Udon Thani that others haven't explored. I guide you to the areas nearby three roundabouts in Udon Thani, Thailand. They're all unique and fun to walk around. First, the Fountain Roundabout, you'll also hear people in Udon Thani call it, Ha Yaek Nam Pu, which means fountain five-way intersection. Sometimes people here call it fountain roundabout, but to call it both ways is pretty common here. Second, the Clock Tower roundabout is a location that has many restaurants, shops that always has visitors. On the road I walked, if you don't feel like walking, there is enough space to park cars. But if it's a rush hour, it probably takes some time to find the spot though. Third, Kromluang Prachak Sinlapakhom Monument is the roundabout that I always drive past, it feels heartwarming every time. Anyway, the food at Soi Kratoey is good, and there is a lot to see if you're new here. Lastly, it's a new year, I hope you're all well. I will keep creating more helpful content, and if you have any suggestions, please feel free to leave your comment below, I'll accept them. And if there's something I didn't say clearly, please let me know.

20 Things to do in Chiang Mai, Thailand Travel Guide Video Transcript:
Today we’re taking you around a city that we’ve been to many times before: Chiang Mai. Located in the heart of Northern Thailand, Chiang Mai is a growing city with laid back vibes, temples sprinkled around every corner, and a foodie scene that will make you drool. This is a destination where you come to unwind and that’s exactly what we did during our month long visit. Now let’s get started with this tour of Chiang Mai (清邁) so you can see what this city is all about:
One of the best things you can do in Chiang Mai is ditch the map and get lost inside the old city. It’s along the quiet back lanes that you’ll find cozy cafes, terracotta gardens, unvisited temples, and a little flavour of the old Chiang Mai.
As you’ve probably figured out, we’re not really into nightlife, but Chiang Mai does have lots of bars where you can enjoy a drink or two. We kept things light with a Chang beer.
And that’s a wrap for our visit to Chiang Mai, Thailand. We hope this video gave you a little taste of what this city is all about. We’ll be the first to tell you that we barely scratched the surface in terms of everything Chiang Mai (清迈) has to offer, but that being said, the goal of our time here was to relax, eat well, see friends, and catch up on work. As always, if you have any other suggestions of things to do, places to visit, and restaurants to eat at, feel free to share those with fellow travellers in the comments below. Until next time!

Karon is a resort town on the west coast of Thailand’s Phuket Island. It’s known for Karon Beach, a long stretch of white sand. Wat Suwan Khirikhet is a Buddhist temple guarded by 2 large snake statues. The temple complex hosts the twice-weekly Karon Temple Market, which sells sarongs, jewelry and street food. To the southeast, the towering white marble Big Buddha statue has panoramic views over the island.
Weather and Events:
Karon has a tropical monsoon climate and is hot year-round. The dry season (Dec–Mar) is a common time to visit. The rainy season (May–Oct) brings high humidity and heavy showers. During the Songkran Festival (Apr), locals celebrate Thai New Year by throwing water at each other. Loy Krathong (Nov) is a festival of lights where small banana-leaf boats topped with tiny candles are set afloat on the water.

Visit this popular night market on Saturday night to taste amazing Thai food, pick up souvenirs, watch traditional Thai dancing, get a Thai massage, and so much more. I recommend eating dinner at the northern end of the street along the canal after you have finished exploring the area.
