Krabi is located on southern Thailand’s west coast. Krabi is home to impressive limestone cliffs, dense mangrove forests, white sand beaches, and more than 100 offshore islands.

10. Enjoy the Ao Nang beaches & sunset Ao Nang Beach is a great place to admire the Andaman sea, take a dip, and watch the sunset.
9. Explore the food & nightlife at Ao Nang The Soi RCA Entertainment area is the place to go if you’re looking for a late night party.
8. Go For an Island-Hopping Tour We did a day trip by longtail boat, covering 4 islands. There were multiple stops for swimming and snorkeling and a stop at Railay Beach.

7. Hike the Wat Tham Sua Sitting right outside of Krabi Town, the Tiger Cave Temple is certainly worth a visit. Most visitors come to climb the 1,260 steps to the top of the hill.
6. Explore Thung Teao Forest Natural Park There is a short boardwalk trail that takes you to three different pools in the middle of the jungle: Crystal Pool, Emerald Pool, and the Blue Pool.
5. Dip into the Krabi Hot Springs Cut into smooth rocks, the hot springs flow from deep rooted thermal springs that are located inside volcanic chambers.

In this video, we highlight 10 of the best things to do in and around Bangkok for your first or second visit:
10. Try the street food A dish generally costs between 1 to $3 and ranges from barbecued chicken and steamed dumplings, to Pad Thai and tasty mango sticky rice.
9. Admire the Grand Palace The Grand Palace is Bangkok’s most impressive and popular tourist attraction. Established in 1782, this complex was the royal residence for generations.
8. See the reclining Buddha at Wat Pho Known as one of Bangkok’s oldest temples, this place has a rich history and is home to an impressive Reclining Buddha.
7. Visit a floating market The most popular floating market is Damnoen Saduak, which is about a 1.5 hour drive from the city center of Bangkok.

6. Take a stroll in Lumpini park This big green oasis offers several lawn areas, paved walking paths, trees, playgrounds, and an artificial lake.

From the most beautiful beaches to rich culture and unique cities, Thailand is a budget travelers paradise. If you’re planning on backpacking Southeast Asia, high chances are that you’ll start off in Thailand.
I spent a couple of months solo traveling all throughout Thailand and I highly recommend this 10-Day itinerary if you want a mix of nature, city, and everything else in between.
📌 Save this post when planning your trip:
BANGKOK (3 days) You’re most likely going to be flying into the Suvarnabhumi Airport, which is Thailand’s biggest international airport. The city alone has so much to do, and you’ll adjust if you start your trip here. Stay in Asoke, download the @grab app to get around the city, visit all the temples, and eat the endless amounts of street food.
CHIANG MAI (2 days) Only an hour flight away from Bangkok, spend at least 2 days in Chiang Mai. It’s the second largest city in Thailand with the BEST food in Thailand (no joke), and there’s so much unique hotels and nature. Chiang Mai is super walkable, but I recommend renting a motor bike to explore the outskirts of the city!
PHUKET (2 days) If you love the beach and love to party, Phuket is where it’s at. Just remember to stay hydrated since there’s endless pool parties and shows. Note that it is the most expensive place to visit in Thailand, and I recommend renting a motorbike!
KRABI (3 days) My absolute favorite place in all of Thailand. If you’re a nature person, this province is for you. There are unique, hidden beaches, the worlds most beautiful beaches, and just endless amounts of ‘jaw dropping’ moments. I highly recommend visiting with a drone — I promise you’ll fall in love with it more.
