Noble Park|| Victoria
Noble Park, Victoria
Noble Park was named after Swedish inventor Alfred Nobel, the suburb began in 1909. Allan Buckley nicknamed the land subdivision Nobel Park.
Began in 1909 as a subdivision by Allan Buckley. Having used the land to demonstrate explosives developed by Alfred Nobel, Buckley called the estate Nobel Park but it was soon transformed into Noble Park after his son, Noble.
Early settlement was supported by building a Community centre, Church, School, Postal centre and later, a Railway station. The Postal centre was opened on August 1910 and the railway station was completed in July 1912, the early days, the town's growth was relatively slow due to the lack of population growth in the area. In the early 1920s, the Railway Department set up a poultry farm and eventually a plant nursery was set up in the eastern part of the suburb. The focus of the small community was based around its Noble Park Town Hall.
Residential growth in the second half of the century saw an end to the grazing paddocks and market gardens, they being replaced by housing built predominantly to accommodate assisted-passage migrants from all over the country.
Noble Park has a mixture of suburban, commercial and industrial zones and is home to a highly diversity population, with residents who have emigrated from Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Africa.
The legendary Australian singer John Peter Farnham was born in Dagenham, England. He came to Australia in 1959 with his parents and sisters when he was just 10 years old. Raised and lived in Noble Park, John Farnham attended school at Yarraman Oaks Primary School, Lyndale Primary School and Lyndale High School.
The Farnham Family settle-in the area, John Peter Farnham reside at his Aunt Mary's house in Noble Park North, Victoria. Four days after John’s 10th birthday. Not long after their advent, Farnham Family was given a lottery ticket and won £10,000. Farnham Family built two brick veneer houses, one for the Farnhams in the area, and another nearby for Farnham’s grandparents.

January 2022 : Mornington Peninsula National Park - Top destination to visit in Victoria
This video is regarding our recent trip to Mornington Peninsula National Park in January 2022.
It is part of an Aboriginal cultural landscape in the traditional Country of the Bunurong People. Parks Victoria respects the deep and continuing connection that Bunurong Traditional Owners have to these lands and waters, and we recognise their ongoing role in caring for Country.
Embracing the wild ocean beaches between Portsea and Flinders, and the kangaroo haven of Greens Bush, Mornington Peninsula National Park is a favourite of Melburnians looking to escape the nearby city. Experienced surfers flock to Gunamatta Beach, while rockpools at Sorrento Ocean Beach, close to town, are perfect for families.
Dip into the excellent surf beaches of the Mornington Peninsula National Park. Tackle the waves of Gunnamatta, Flinders, Portsea and Rye ocean beaches.
Step out on The Coastal Walk for spectacular coastal views. The two-day walk meanders along high clifftops, through coastal vegetation and past stunning ocean beaches.
A haven for native wildlife such as kangaroos, Greens Bush is the largest fragment of native bushland remaining on the Mornington Peninsula.
Dogs are not permitted in Mornington Peninsula National Park. This includes beaches, carparks and Greens Bush.
As beaches and coasts are natural environments, you may encounter hazards. Follow the water safety advice to make sure your day out at Mornington Peninsula National Park is a safe and enjoyable one.

1. Adelaiide Festival Centre
A five-minute walk from North Terrace and Rundle Mall, the Adelaide Festival Centre excites both locals and tourists with its lively cultural calendar. It was Australia's first multi-functional arts venue, and its white tent-like roof structure is a distinctive landmark along the River Torrens/Karrawirra Parri.
2. Ayers Historic House Museum
Ayers House is one of the finest examples of Regency architecture in Australia. Originally a modest house built in 1846, it was owned from 1855 to 1878 by Henry Ayers, who for many years was prime minister of South Australia. Ayers transformed it into an elegant 40-room mansion with a large new dining room and a ballroom.
3. Barossa Valley or Clare Valley
4. Art Gallery of South Australia
In the heart of Adelaide's cultural precinct, the Art Gallery of South Australia exhibits one of Australia's finest art collections. The elegant, colonnaded Victorian building, established in 1881, sets the tone for the esteemed works within its walls.
5. Fleurieu Peninsula
Less than hour's drive south of Adelaide's city center, the Fleurieu Peninsula is one of Adelaide's most popular coastal day trip destinations. Rolling hills, farms, fantastic surf beaches, and upscale dining lure foodies and city slickers looking for a slower pace.
6. North Terrace
A handsome tree-lined boulevard graced by historic and cultural treasures, North Terrace is a great place to kick off a city tour. Exploring all the attractions here is one of the top things to do in Adelaide's CBD (central business district).
7. Adelaide Zoo
Adjoining the Adelaide Botanical Gardens on the northwest, the Adelaide Zoo is much loved for its educational focus and charismatic collection of animals. It was established in the late 19th century.
8. Migration Museum
The Migration Museum, housed in a beautifully restored building behind the State Library, traces three centuries of immigration history in South Australia. From Aboriginal history before colonization to the impact of immigration on their culture and local communities, you can gain insight into the pioneering spirit and diverse cultures that changed the face of South Australia.
9. Port Adelaide
Port Adelaide is a popular tourist destination, with museums, restaurants, and well-preserved heritage buildings. You'll find it about 14 kilometers northwest of the city center.
10. Glenelg Beach
In the sheltered and surf-free Gulf St. Vincent, the seaside village of Glenelg is a popular escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. To get here, most visitors opt for the 25-minute trip on Adelaide's only surviving tram, which departs from Victoria Square in the city center.
11. South Australian Museum
The South Australian Museum, adjacent to the State Library, is a top research facility renowned for its Aboriginal heritage collections. In addition to the excellent Australian collection, you can admire artifacts from the South Pacific Islands in the permanent Pacific Cultures Gallery, gaze upon Egyptian antiquities, and learn about local flora and fauna in the South Australian Biodiversity Gallery.
12. State Library
The State Library of South Australia surprises first-time visitors with its dramatic juxtaposition of old and new. The contemporary Spence Wing, with its sharp lines and glass-fronted entrance, offers modern facilities and free Wi-Fi.
13. Adelaide Oval
Stadiums aren't always a top attraction in a capital city, but Aussies love their sports, and this venue is an important part of the city's history.
14. Victoria Square
In the heart of the city, at the intersection with Grote Street and Wakefield Street, King William Street opens out into the revamped Victoria Square, also known by its Aboriginal name, Tarndanyangga. This event venue, with beautifully laid out gardens, is a popular meeting place, and it's a great spot to hang out and watch the world go by.
15. Botanic Garden
Wander through the wrought-iron gates at the east end of North Terrace and enter a wonderland of botanical treasures. Established in 1855, Adelaide Botanic Garden features educational themed plantings, including medicinal plants, a Mediterranean garden, Australian native species, and a wetland designed to sequester enough water to eventually irrigate the entire grounds.

THE DANDENONG RANGES
The Dandenong Ranges (commonly just The Dandenongs) are a set of low mountain ranges in Victoria, Australia, approximately 35 km (22 mi) east of the state capital Melbourne. A minor branch of the Great Dividing Range, the Dandenongs consist mostly of rolling hills, rising to 633 m (2,077 ft) at Mount Dandenong, as well as steeply weathered valleys and gullies covered in thick temperate rainforest, predominantly of tall mountain ash trees and dense ferny undergrowth. The namesake Dandenong Creek and most of its left-bank tributaries (particularly the Eumemmerring Creek) originate from headwaters in these mountain ranges. Two of Melbourne's most important storage reservoirs, the Cardinia and Silvan Reservoir, are also located within the Dandenongs.
After European settlement in the Port Phillip Bay region, the range was used as a major local source of timber for Melbourne. The ranges were popular with day-trippers from the 1870s onwards. Much of the Dandenongs were protected as parklands as early as 1882, and by 1987 these parklands were amalgamated to form the Dandenong Ranges National Park, which was subsequently expanded in 1997. The range receives light to moderate snowfalls a few times in most years, frequently between late winter and late spring.
