This is one of the most dangerous highway bridges in the world.
This bridge is made on the banks of Betwa River in Orchha Madhya Pradesh. Connecting Prithvipur (TOWN) to Orchha.
Bridge is approximately 6 ft wide and only one car can pass through it at a time.
No fence support is given to this bridge and is highly accidental. Only expert drivers of the region are suggested to drive through this bridge.
The river flows over the bridge in Monsoon and the route gets closed for some time. Orchha is now open so you can plan a short trip to this beautiful town of Madhya Pradesh.

#ওরছাঃ-বেতোয়া নদীর পারে বুন্দেল রাজপুত রাজা রুদ্রপ্রতাপ সিং ১৫৩১ খ্রিস্টাব্দে রাজধানী প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন এই ওরছাতে। জাহাঙ্গীর মহলের বিপরীতে রাজামহল তার সময়েই গড়া হয়।
রাজামহল। ওরছার প্রথম রাজা রুদ্রপ্রতাপের সময় এটি তৈরি। জাহাঙ্গীর মহলের তুলনায় এর চাকচিক্য কম হলেও এর দেওয়াল ও ছাদে রয়েছে অপূর্ব সব চিত্রশিল্প। ওপর তলার জাফরির ফাঁক দিয়ে অদূরেই দেখা যাচ্ছে বেতোয়া নদী চারপাশে ঘিরে রেখেছে এই দুর্গপ্রাসাদটিকে। দেখা যাচ্ছে রামরাজার মন্দির, চতুর্ভূজ মন্দির, লক্ষ্মী-নারায়ণ মন্দির আরও কতকি।

একেবারে দক্ষিণের চতুর্ভুজ মন্দির থেকে পরিক্রমা শুরু করুন। আরও খানিক এগিয়ে দক্ষিণী শিল্পরীতিতে গড়ে উঠেছে দুলাদেও শিব মন্দির। এর অলঙ্করণও সুন্দর। পশ্চিমের মন্দিরগুলি দেখতে গেট দিয়ে ঢুকে বায়ে প্রথমেই চোখে পড়বে লক্ষণ মন্দির আর পাশেই বরাহমন্দির। চান্দেল রাজা লক্ষণ বর্মণের সময় নির্মিত হয় লক্ষণ মন্দির। ভাস্কর্যশিল্পের এক অনবদ্য সৃষ্টি এই লক্ষণ মন্দির। আবার একই সাথে মূর্ত হয়েছে বিচিত্র সব মিথুন মূর্তি। কান্ডারীয় মহাদেব মন্দির শুধু আয়তনেই বড়ো না অলঙ্করণ অসাধারণ।
SANCHI, UDAYGIRI, SATDHARA
Sanchi is famous for Great Buddha Stupa. It is in Raisen dist. of Madhyapradesh, India. It is 45 Km. from Bhopal, the capital city of Madhyapradesh. It was originally built by Mauryan emperor Ashoka the Great in the 3rd cent.B.C. Devi wife of Ashoka and daughter of a merchant nearby Vidisha completed the Basic structure of the STUPA.
UDAYGIRI caves is 10 Km. from Sanchi. It contains iconography of VAISHNAVISM, SAKTISM and SHIVISM.
Cave 5 - Vishnu as a Varaha Avatar Inscription Chandragupta II and Kumargupta.
Satdhara is 10 Km.from Sanchi, another destination to see STUPA.
#সাঁচিঃ সম্রাট অশোকের আমলে সাঁচির এই বৌদ্ধস্তূপটি নির্মিত হয়। প্রথমে এটি ইট দিয়ে নির্মিত হয়। শুঙ্গ-কাণ্ব যুগে ইটের ওপর পাথরের আস্তরণ যুক্ত হয়। একশ বছর পরে স্তূপের চারদিকে অনেক উঁচু করে রেলিং দেওয়া হয়। স্তূপের চারপাশে যে চারটি তোরণ বিশ্ববন্দিত তা নির্মিত হয়েছে আরও পরে। তোরণদ্বারের প্রতিটি ইঞ্চিতে বুদ্ধদেবের জীবনের নানা কাহিনী নিয়ে উন্নতমানের ভাস্কর্য সৃষ্টি হয়েছে।
#উদয়গিরিঃ বিদিশার কাছে উদয়গিরিতে আছে ২০টি গুহামন্দির। ১৩ নং গুহায় অনন্ত শয্যায় বিষ্ণুর বিরাট এক মৃর্তি। ১২ নং গুহায় নৃসিংহ অবতার। কোনো গুহায় কার্তিকেয়, কোনো গুহায় গণেশ। একটিতে পাওয়া গেল শক্তির প্রতীক মহিসষাসুরমর্দিণীর মূর্তি।
সাতধারাঃ সাঁচি শহর থেকে ১০ কিমি দূরে সবুজ অরণ্যময় পরিবেশে পাহাড় আর নদীর প্রেক্ষাপটে প্রাচীন বৌদ্ধস্তূপ। এর পর সাঁচির মূল স্তূপ।

Bhimbetka rock shelter is 45 Km. south from Bhopal, capital city of Madhyapradesh in India. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site consist of 750 rock shelter. It is inside the RATAPANI Wild Life Sanctuary. Bhimbetka shelters are earliest traces of human life in India. Bhimbetka rock art is considered oldest Petroglyps in the World.
#ভীমবেটকাঃ মধ্যপ্রদেশের ভীমবেটকায় প্রস্তরযুগের অনেক গুহাচিত্র আবিষ্কার হয়েছে। এটি ভারতের সবচেয়ে পুরনো সভ্যতার নিদর্শন।এর মধ্যে কোনো কোনো গুহায় আজ থেকে আনুমানিক ১ লক্ষ বছর আগে হোমো ইরেক্টাস বা প্রথম দণ্ডায়মান মানুষের বসতি ছিল। ভীমবেটকায় প্রাপ্ত কোনো কোনো গুহাচিত্রের বয়স আনুমানিক ত্রিশ হাজার বছর।
গুহাগুলোয় অনেক ছবি পাওয়া গেছে। সবচেয়ে প্রাচীন ছবিগুলো আনুমানিক ৩০,০০০ বছরের পুরোনো কিন্তু নতুন কয়েকটা মধ্যযুগেও আঁকা হয়েছে। আঁকায় ব্যবহৃত হয় খনিজ ও উদ্ভিজ্জ রং। সময়ের সাথে সাথে এই রঙ ক্ষয় না পাওয়ার কারণ হল এই যে, ছবিগুলো আঁকা হত গুহার গভীর অংশের দেওয়ালের গায়ে। তাই রোদ আর বৃষ্টির হাত থেকে এগুলো রক্ষা পেয়েছিল।

Orchha is a town in Niwari district of Madhya Pradesh state, India. The town was established by Rudra Pratap Singh some time after 1501, as the seat of an eponymous former princely state of covering parts of central & north India, in the Bundelkhand region. Orchha lies on the Betwa River, 80 km from Tikamgarh & 15 km from Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh. On a seasonal island on the bank of the Betwa River, which has been surrounded by a battlement wall, stands a huge palace-fort. The fort consists of several connected buildings erected at different times, the most noteworthy of which is the Raja Mahal. (all original sounds) Some time ago I uploaded videos about our visit to South India in 1999. Many viewers found this very interesting. That's why I re-edited footage from our 2003 visit to India and Nepal.
