Belə ki, kəndin quruluşu onu deməyə əsas verir ki, məskunlaşma bir neçə mərhələdə baş vermişdir. Daha qədim məskunlaşma Xəzər dənizinin sahillərinə yaxın yerlərdə olmuşdur. Xəzər dənizinin sahilində qədim tikililər indi də qalmaqdadır. Qədim hamamlar, ovdanlar, su quyuları göstərir ki, insanlar dənizə daha yaxın yerlərdə məskunlaşmışlar.
