Welcome to Muskegon, Michigan - a quick 3 - 4 hour road trip (depending on how bad of traffic you hit along the way) from Chicagoland area! We technically stayed for 2 days but the vlog focuses entirely on one day .

the second day was spent at Michigan's Adventure- which is currently running a halloween special called Tricks and Treats. Our full detailed video of the park and event can be seen here:

We stayed at DreamStay's Scenic Drive Resort, a beautiful little cottage situated right along Lake Michigan .. best part is, it comes with its very own private beach. We spent a good portion of our evening just sitting and relaxing at the beach. Bonfires are allowed so make sure you bring your own firewood and enjoy the sounds of the lake!
visit: (search for scenic drive resort, we stayed in cottage #4 .. they have a total of 7 units to pick from), ours was great as it was nearest to the beach entrance.

we created a detailed video of the cottage we stayed at as well! link can be seen here:

We also visited downtown muskegon, a nice spot to grab some food, shop and just walk around! during our visit the city was having the Irish Festival (Michigan's largest Irish festival) which was fun for all ages!

We grabbed some amazing Mexican cuisine which was served from a food truck.. one of the best Mexican food we have had! check out Taqueria Agaves

Overall, it was an amazing trip, the family had a great time! Thanks #visitmuskegon and #dreamstay for an amazing trip!
