its been 3 weeks since my last upload!! aaa!! if you guys have me on instagram, you'd know i was in australia for a few weeks~ i just got home a few days ago and started editing asap! melbourne is sooo serene, esp the places we visited and activities we did! a lot of scenic views and nature in my first week in the area!
i hope ur all doing well and thank u for tuning in! let me know how you feel about these travel vlogs (not that id do them often as i dont get to travel as much T_T but this was a fun way to document my trip and i hope this video helps u find places to visit when in melbourne!)

EXPLORING MELBOURNE MURRUMBEENA TRAIN STATION| 2022|Melbourne 4K
Murrumbeena railway station is located on the Pakenham and Cranbourne lines in Victoria, Australia. It serves the south-eastern Melbourne suburb of Murrumbeena, and it opened on 14 May 1879
The station opened one month after the railway line from Caulfield to Oakleigh opened.
A siding was once located at the Down end of Platform 2. It was reduced in length in 1972,and was removed altogether in 1977.
The station once had a signal box at the Up end of Platform 1, which was removed in 1979, when boom barriers were provided at the former Murrumbeena Road level crossing, which was located at the Up end of the station.
In March 2014, the Level Crossing Removal Authority announced a grade separation project to replace the Murrumbeena Road level crossing immediately to the west of the station, being done so as part of its elevated railway project. The historic station (protected by a local heritage overlay) and associated footbridge were removed and replaced with a temporary station until the completion of the project. Trains commenced running on the new elevated lines in June 2018.

Our day in the Melbourne CBD
Whilst house sitting in Murrumbeena VIC we decided to take a trip into the city of Melbourne for the day. Our house sit fortunately had a secure yard that we could leave our dog Scout in, so we booked our first Ola and off we went!
We got a bit confused with the trams and the city was so busy but we had a great day full of fun and yummy food 🤤

Heavy rain and thunderstorms are a feature of the return State Route 9. But it does not dominate this drive. One of the longer drives of the series, it heads north from Port Phillip Bay, through the eastern suburbs, up through the bushland that surrounds the Yarra River, and finishes in the hilly farmland of Wattle Glen in the northeast. This drive has everything.

Falls Creek Scenic Drive - Mount McKay
If you are looking for the most scenic drive around Falls Creek (Victoria), this is it - the Mount McKay scenic loop. Mount McKay.
Mt.McKay is 1849m above sea level, and is the highest drivable mountain peak in the Southern Hemisphere! The views are spectacular across the Bogong High Plains, and over towards Rocky Valley Dam and Pretty Valley Pondage.
We left Falls Creek Village, drive along the Bogong High Plains Road, onto Pretty Valley Road, and then onto the Mount McKay Loop. We have a look around the peak and take in the views, then drive back down the other side of this alpine peak and back into Falls Creek Village. Of all the drives we did in alpine Victoria high plains, this is probably the most scenic drive of them all :)
