David's Been Here continues on its journey through Malawi, from the capital of Lilongwe to the town of Ntchisi. A two and a half hour car ride with SS Rent a Car brings David to the main town, where he continues the journey farther out to his next lodging: Ntchisi Forest Lodge. David's Been Here presents a video to the village of Ntchisi in Malawi, Africa. After a breakfast at the Ntchisi Forest Lodge, David and his guide take off for a day of exploring the Ntchisi area. First, David visits the local primary school, with a class of 472 students studying everything from math and science to bible and life skills. After exchanging smiles and chatter, the crew heads off to the rainforest for the second tour of the day. A grueling hike through the lush, damp forest brings a tired David 1750 meters above sea level to rocky cliffs and misty views. An unforgettable hike through Ntchis's dense jungle, David recommends being in peak physical condition before embarking on this long journey.

Are you looking for the realy best relax vacation in Malawi? It's not so hard, you have to visit the small Nankoma island on Lake Malawi. There is only one accommodation, it's called Blue Zebra. You can only get there by boat and you will find paradise there.
With a view like ours, guests never get bored. And nobody needs an excuse to sit around and enjoy the scenery! From our comfortable terrace, you can see the rolling hills of the East African Rift Valley, the beautiful Lake Malawi 30 kilometres away, and, on a clear day, the mountains of Mozambique on the other side of the Lake. The rainy season is the best time of year for the breathtaking views, when the valleys are cleared of the African dust, and the mountain air feels clear and crisp.
We have plenty of ways to help guests relax, be it in a comfortable armchair on the terrace with a sundowner, a hot chocolate in front of the fireplace on a winter evening, or with a glass of wine under the stars.
