McCloud Middle Falls, A Can't Miss Gem of NorCal!
I don’t know where to begin with McCloud Middle Falls! 😍 It’s nothing short of stunning!
Every inch of it is seeping with beautiful cascades, moss, and eye-popping fall foliage right now!
🥾 The hike to the falls is super easy!
It’s less than a mile and only a few hundred feet elevation change.
🪨 If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, you can climb some boulders to reach the other side of the river.
Where you’ll have the opportunity to get up close to the natural wonder!
McCloud Falls is broken up into three separate falls. I’ll post about the other two falls in a future reel!

Exploring tide pools on the Pacific Coast Highway in California at a park known as Fitzgerald Marine Reserve. It is located in Moss Beach California which is near Half Moon Bay California just 20 minutes south of San Francisco.
This marine paradise just 20 miles south of San Francisco is on the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) also known as Highway 1 right on the California coast with the Pacific Ocean. Hike the cliff trail from Moss Beach Distillery to find what many think are the best inter tidal pools in California (US). We visit Moss Beach Distillery at the end of the video and tell you about the mysterious history. We visit the tide pools at low tide to make it easier and safer to discover the marine treasures.

Discover the Hidden Gems of Half Moon Bay Beaches!
In this episode of Roadtrips we will be visiting 3 Half Moon Bay Beaches. Francis Beach, Pillar Point, and Moss Beach.
Francis Beach is the best for camping and features RV overnight parking with hookups, camping areas for tents, and a picnic area that is ideal for day trip parties or BBQ. There is ample parking, bathrooms and the beach is very close to the camping area. The town of Half Moon Bay is also walkable distance.
Pillar Point is the location of Mavericks Beach as well as picturesque views of the Pillar Point Harbor and Marina. Pillar Point is best for hiking and experiencing nature. The downside to Pillar Point is, if you walk out to Mavericks Beach, it is a 10 to 15 minute hike, and there are no bathrooms at the beach. The closest bathrooms are back at the parking lot. The Pillar Point Harbor is also packed with some really good places to eat. Sam's Chowder House, Ketch, and La Costanera, which is a Michelin rated restaurant.
Moss Beach is located a short distance from Pillar Point. Moss Beach is best for hiking and experiencing the wildlife and tide pools. The Cypress Tree Tunnel is a short distance from the parking lot, and personal opinion, one of the wonders of the world. It is a must see. Moss Beach Parking lot features a Visitor Center and bathrooms.

Around 3 miles hike starting at the Sulphur Springs Rd. Trailhead.
Hike on the blue trail then take a connector to the white trail.
On to Tunnel Falls and then Lower Falls. Hike up the creek to Upper Falls and to the Powerline Trail. Return to start on the Powerline Trail.

We've hiked some pretty incredible trails around the country. This walk along the cliffs near Monterey, California is one of the most spectacular hikes we've ever done!
It's more of a walk since you can basically park within a few steps of some of the best viewpoints. But we opted to park outside the entry gate and do a 6-mile loop trail. There's so much diversity in a relatively small space... white sand beaches, cliffs, wildflowers, dense forests, pebble beaches and one of the only remaining cyprus groves on Earth.

In today's vlog I am going to share with all of you our wonderful visit to one of the most beautiful and haunting cemeteries in america: Bonaventure Cemetery Savannah Georgia
Bonaventure Cemetery was created in 1846, before the civil war, it is a rural cemetery located on a scenic bluff of the Wilmington River, east of Savannah Georgia.
The cemetery became famous when it was featured in the 1994 novel Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by john Berendt and in the subsequent movie directed by client Eastwood, based on the book.
This beautiful graveyard contains stunning memorial
sites that have informed the cultural landscape of the town.The gothic statues, hanging spanish moss and dramatic trees create an unforgettable experience for visitors.
While it began as a private family owned plantation, it is now a public cemetery, where Savannah residents can purchase interment rights for their final resting place.
This bonaventure estate was originally a private plantation, named Evergreen & the name changed after the american revolution, now the name is Bonaventure which means good fortune in the french.
This cemetery is one of the most beautiful cemeteries in US.
I know while a stroll through a cemetery may sound a little morbid but this hauntingly beautiful Bonaventure won't disappoint you.
