Melbourne is the capital of the Australian state of Victoria, and the second-most populous city in Australia (although the most populous in its contiguous urban area). I admit to having a bias about Melbourne as I was born here and spent the first 11 years of my life in the City. I visit often and know the city like the back of my hand (although I do admit to having a hard time keeping up with the many changes in Melbourne over the years).

In this video I take a look around the Dandenong Ranges in Victoria. The autumn colours are in full glory and the quaint towns are begging for discovery. We take a ride on Puffy Billy and look around some stunning gardens before finishing up at Mount Dandenong at Skyhigh.

Puffing Billy tour from Melbourne
The beautiful garden state of Victoria has many unique natural attractions. Among the very best are the Blue Dandenongs – a series of rolling hills, 35km east of Melbourne. Resplendent with tall groves of Mountain Ash, temperate rainforest and fern gullies covering the mountain floor, the Dandenongs are a cool and restful place.
