PLAYAS DEL CARIBE Y PACIFICO DE HONDURAS. HONDURAS BEACHES.
Honduras cuenta con tres zonas de las que debemos hablar si queremos referirnos a sus playas, dos en el Caribe y una tercera en el Océano Pacífico. Para empezar a hablar de Honduras debemos reseñar que sus playas más interesantes son las que están en las Islas de la Bahía, en el Mar Caribe, el mismo que ocupa el litoral norte del país. En el sur, Honduras cuenta con el Golfo de Fonseca, salida natural al Pacífico.
Si hay algo que no puede olvidar en Honduras es que está en un paraíso para buceadores, un paraíso para practicar submarinismo o snorkell en la segunda barrera de coral más grande del mundo, después de la de Australia. Honduras tiene cientos de playas ideales para bucear y disfrutar de los fondos marinos, de su fauna y su flora marina, y en todos esos puntos y lugares encontrará escuelas de submarinismo donde le iniciarán en esta actividad y donde podrá alquilar material. En las Islas de la bahía, por ejemplo, en los hoteles encontrará material y escuelas vaya por donde vaya.
Bucear es, a día de hoy, la actividad estrella en la playa hondureña, está donde esté, los arrecifes, las aguas cristalinas y transparentes, la buena temperatura todo ello le ayudará a disfrutar del entorno subacuático de las islas de Honduras o de la península. caribbean beach, La Ceiba

We took a trip to Comayagua Honduras for my son's birthday! This is Day 1 where we visit Villa Mar Water park and explore the Cathedral Catedral de la Inmaculada Concepción.

Comayagua is a city, municipality and old capital of Honduras, located 50 miles northwest of Tegucigalpa and about 2 hours away from San Pedro Sula. Comayagua remained the capital of Honduras throughout all the colonial period. By the time the Spanish authorities gifted the city with different architectural works, such as churches, colleges, convents, houses, and Fountains (many of which are still in the plaza downtown). Comayagua's system of cisterns and fountains dates from colonial times making it the first city in Honduras with a system of aqueducts.
Comayagua has many hotels, shops, and restaurants. We felt safe traveling in the city.

We are a expats and a typical black American family living and teaching abroad in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. We were born and raised in California but spent most of our adult life in Atlanta, GA where we met at Spelman and Morehouse College.
About a year ago we left our jobs teaching in the United States for a life abroad in Honduras. Our channel has 2 goals:
1. To show black families and people of color what a life abroad could look like.

A Tourist's Guide to Copan, Honduras
I set off from San Salvador at 4.30am, driving to the Guatemalan border, stopping off at the El Salvadorian town of Santa Ana before crossing over. Then after two hours of driving across the pot-holed roads of Guatemala, we finally reach the border with Honduras.
Then we get to see the Copan ruins, as well as visiting the nearby town.
A long day, but well worth it.
Langue, Valle, Honduras
Langue se fundó el 20 de noviembre de 1,525, de acuerdo com Menbreño. Langue es una palabra de origen Mexicano en donde está unido el articulo LA al termino ACATL que quiere decir CAÑA o CARRIZO segùn Menbreño el termino comenzò a pronunciarse ```LOCA`` pero luego la ``C`` se debila y se dijo ``LAGA`` de donde paso a la forma actual de ``LANGUE``
De acuerdo con el relato``Lainez Canales Carlos Enrique`` las fechas probables de la fundaciòn se sitùan entre 1,580 y 1,590 en vista de los primeros testimonios de sus terrenos egidales que datan de 1,591 ( Las de Nuestra Señora de Candelaria).
Antes de que la poblacion se situara en el lugar actual, paso por tres sitios en vista de la insalubridad. Los amates, en el Valle de nuetra Señora de Candelaria , pueblo viejo (hoy zapotal).
La poblacion del municipio de Langue es claramente mestiza en casi la totalidad del municipio excepto en las partes altas (concepciòn de marìa) en donde los rasgos revelan el origen (Chorotega) lenca , probablemente en langue ocurriò lo que en muchos otros sitios, la poblacion aborigen fue desplazada hacia las partes altas y la poblaciòn mestiza poblò las partes bajas en donde comenzaron a encontrarse los servicios.
Langue,Valle esta ubicada en la regiòn sur oeste del paìs. se encuentra en la parte del departamento de Valle sus limites son:
Al norte: con los municipios de Aramecina y Curaren , (en el departamento de Francisco Morazan) y San Francisco de Coray.
Al sur: con los municipios de Nacaome y Goascoran.
Al este: con los municipios de San Francisco de Coray.
Al oeste: con Guascoran y Aramecina.
La topografia del municipio es sumamente quebrada, en principal la parte norte y occidente al sur y oriente, se encuentra alguna planicie , debido a la proximidad en el Golfo de Fonseca , las tierras del municipio son arenosas y arcillosas en su mayoria. En el municipio de Langue prevalecen durante la mayor parte del año un clima càlido y ardiente, los meses de marzo y abril, agradables los meses de noviembre, diciembre y enero y una temperatura maxima de 32º.
El numero de habitantes es de: 18,891 habitantes en total
La comunidad de Langue a sufrido diferentes cambios en:
Vivienda: en la cabecera municipal a mejorado ostensiblemente,principalmente en aquellos hogares que cuentan con familias en USA y en las familias integradas por profesionales o comerciantes.
Carreteras: el municipio cuenta con una carretera troncal pavimentada que empalma con la carretera panamericana (7km) al sur de la cabecera.
Mercado: la ciudad de langue cuenta con instalaciones apropiadas para mercado, las que fueron remodeladas en 1,965 ya que son imcapaces de albergar el comercio diario y fluido que crece aceleradamente.
Energia Electrica: desde el año 1,967, el fluido electrico en la ciudad ha sido proporcionado por la ENEE para un servicio de 24hrs
Esta comunidad cuenta tambièn con arboles frutales y comestibles para el abastecimiento de la poblacion,tales como: mango, jocote, zapote, aguacate, papaya, anona, marañon, guayaba, huerte (guineo mojoncho, manzano y caribe), piña, olivo, caña de azucar, guapinol, matazano, camote, nanca, sandia, melon, tomate, pipian, ayote, calabaza, yuca y jilote, etc.
la comunidad de Langue cuenta con recursos minerales, con varias minas. el Cuyal, rica en planta, Mina la Vaca.
Una de las instituciones que ha intervenido para mejorar la economia local de Langue es, Vision Mundial. Otras de las instituciones que impulsan la economia de la comunidad es la Cooperativa de Ahorro y Credito Esfuerzo Langueño. Muchas de las mujeres de esta comunidad ademas de las actividades domesticas se dedican al comercio, estas mismas personas trabajan independientemente porque se dedican a la venta de verduras.
CRONOLOGÌA HISTÒRICA DE LANGUE
En la vida politica-cultural delmunicipio, se han dado una serie de acontecimientos que retratan decuerpo entero como se ha ido desarrollando la sociedad langueña a travès de su historia. he aquì algunos rasgos sobresalientes:
1. la denominada Cruz del Perdon (ubicada en el parque central), es en realidad un monumento fàlico dedicado a la fertilidad; probablemente construido, por los indìgenas Lencas que habitaban en el lugar. Posteriormente, la iglesia se encargò de ubicar en su parte superior el sìmbolo de la Cristianidad.
2. El 17 de Septiembre de 1771, se establecen las Cofradìas de San Antonio de Padua por las celebraciones de actos religiosos. estas cofradìas contenìan ordenanzas que fueron ratificadas en su oportunida por el Obispo Monseñor Antonio de Macarulla Miniguilla y Aquitanea.
