Chalinze (Wilaya ya Chalinze in Swahili) is one of nine administrative districts of Pwani Region in Tanzania. The district covers an area of 8,042 km2. The district is comparable in size to the land area of Puerto Rico. The area that is now Chalinze District has been inhabited by humans for thousands of years by Bantu peoples. The area is the ancestral home to three Bantu people groups, namely the Kwere, Doe people and the Zigua. The Zaramo are native to the southern portion of the district.

Chalinze (Svahili dilinde Wilaya ya Chalinze) Tanzanya'daki Pwani Bölgesi'nin dokuz idari bölgesinden biridir. İlçe 8.042 km2'lik bir alanı kaplamaktadır. İlçe büyüklük olarak Porto Riko'nun yüzölçümü ile karşılaştırılabilir. Günümüzde Chalinze Bölgesi olan bölgede binlerce yıldır Bantu halkları yaşamaktadır. Bölge, Kwere, Doe halkı ve Zigua olmak üzere üç Bantu halk grubunun atalarının yurdudur. Zaramo halkı bölgenin güney kesiminde yaşamaktadır.

En bus de Mbeya, TANZANIE, jusqu'à Lusaka, ZAMBIE

Après avoir fait 30 heures de train pour arriver à Mbeya, il a fallu que je prenne le bus en direction de Lusaka, la capitale de la Zambie.
Cela ne s'est pas fait dans le plus grand des conforts 😱

Habituellement, il n'est pas rare de voir ce type d'organisation pour des voyages d'une ou deux heures. Mais là, nous devions parcourir près de 1000 km !
