🗺️ TRANSFORM THROUGH TRAVEL
Travel offers us the opportunity for significant transformation. Disconnecting from the madness of everyday life can provide an opportunity to reconnect with ourselves, to create space to change, to grow, to find a path that we were previously struggling to navigate.
Achieving a truly transformative travel experience takes a lot more than just booking a ticket. It has little to do with WHERE you go. But it is completely about WHY you want to go on the journey.
To truly tap into the change you desire needs intention. It needs planning. It needs soul-searching.
It needs a deep understanding of WHAT you want to get out of your adventure before you step foot on that plane…or car…or bus…or train.

Places to see in ( Solva - UK )
Places to see in ( Solva - UK )
Solva is a village and community in Pembrokeshire, Wales, comprising principally Lower Solva and Upper Solva. Solva lies on the north side of St Bride's Bay, in North Pembrokeshire in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. It lies on a deep valley at the mouth of the River Solva. In the valley is Lower Solva, consisting of a long street ending at the small harbour. Most of the modern development has been in Upper Solva, on the cliff top to the west of the harbour.
The village church honors Saint Aidan and is part of the parish of Whitchurch.[3]
The rocks at the entrance to Solva Harbour made it one of the most sheltered anchorages between Fishguard and Milford Haven. Solva became the main trading centre of St Bride's Bay in the medieval period, and was important for lime burning. Several lime kilns are preserved in the harbour area. In the 19th century, Solva had around 30 registered trading ships. The fading coastal trade has been replaced by tourism, and the harbour is now a popular boating centre. The village was the location for Wales' first butterfly farm, Solva Nectarium, which opened in 1979.
Every year on Easter Monday Solva hosts a Duck Race for charity. The ducks are released into the River Solva near Middle Mill and float down stream to Solva harbour. The winner is the first to cross under the footbridge in lower Solva car park. Each summer, Solva hosts a Regatta which features rowing for adults and children.
The spectacular local cliff coast is popular with walkers, and the classic cliff exposures of Cambrian rocks attract amateur and professional geologists. Solva Woollen Mill, located at the nearby village of Middle Mill, claims to be the oldest continuously working woollen mill in Pembrokeshire. Today the mill mostly manufactures carpets and rugs. There is a tearoom and a shop, and visitors are able to see the looms at work. Solva Harbour is a good example of a flooded valley known as a ria. Local rocks contain fossils from the Cambrian period. and the village gives its name to this rock sequence.
( Solva - UK ) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting the city of Solva . Through a series of videos we will try to show you recommended places to visit in Solva - UK

The FestiviTŷ is building at Milford Waterfront
For over a year, we have been capturing footage of every step of the hotel development project; from the demolition of the former ice factory to the completion of the build, and there’s still lots to add to the story. Inside and outside the hotel is a hive of activity as the opening date approaches, and with the opening of Tŷ Hotel Milford Waterfront just a month way we thought it would be a good time to reflect on this major development from the Port of Milford Haven, in partnership with the team behind the world renowned Celtic Manor Resort.

Milford Haven Walk: Town Centre & Harbour【4K】
Located in the county of Pembrokeshire, and in one of the most southwesterly corners of Wales, is the town of Milford Haven, or Aberdaugleddau in Welsh.
Geographically Milford Haven is situated on the north side of a natural harbour. From around the 8th to 11th century AD, Vikings had used this harbour as a shelter during campaigns around the western and southern coasts of Britain. In 1171 Henry II gathered an invasion fleet of 400 warships here before sailing to Waterford and on to Dublin. This was the first time an English king set foot on Irish soil.
Another historical landing occurred in 1485 when Henry Tudor (who would become Henry VII) landed in Milford Haven after returning from exile in France. From here he would go on to Bosworth in Leicestershire where he defeated Richard III before ending the War of the Roses by uniting the Houses of York and Lancaster. It was during Henry's march from Milford Haven that the Welsh flag: the red dragon of Cadwaladr, King of Gwynedd on a background of the Tudor colours of green and white, was flown for the first time. It signified Henry’s Welsh descent with the aim of gathering Welsh forces to his cause. It was officially recognised as the Welsh national flag in 1959.
Despite the harbour's history, the town of Milford Haven itself is relatively young. It was founded in 1793 by William Hamilton with the initial intent of being a whaling town for Quakers from Nantucket, Massachusetts. However, by the year 1800, the company overseeing the project had gone bankrupt. The port instead became a Royal Navy dockyard which it remained until the dockyard was transferred to Pembroke in 1814. Milford Haven transformed into a commercial dock which became the home of a prosperous fishing industry. By 1906, Milford Haven had developed into the sixth largest fishing port in the UK.
During the Second World War Milford Haven was chosen as a base for allied American troops. About 1,000 American personnel were housed in the town during this period. The base here played an important role in the preparations for the D-Day landings. Despite its strategic importance, Milford Haven escaped serious damage from German bombings. Thus the town centre's architecture for the most part reflects its Georgian origins faithfully.
In 1960 Milford Haven's first oil refinery, The Esso Refinery, was opened. From here, millions of tonnes of crude oil were processed every year up until its closure in 1983. Today, the site has been converted into what is now the South Hook LNG Terminal. LNG stands for Liquefied Natural Gas, which in this case is imported from Qatar. It is then regasified and sent through the South Wales Gas Pipeline to the national gas network at Tirley, Gloucestershire.
Despite being one of the furthest towns away from the English border, Milford Haven is one of the least Welsh-speaking towns in all of Wales with around 7.5% of residents claiming to speak, read and write the language.
