Welkom op mijn kanaal. Ik ben Selma. Vrouw van Ngomi en moeder van 3 kinderen: Josephine (2010), Christian (2013) en Daniel (2016). We wonen met ons gezin in Tanzania, Oost-Afrika, aan de voet van de beroemde Kilimanjaro en vlakbij parken als de Serengeti en de Ngorongoro Crater. Ngomi en ik zijn in 2009 samen het reisbureau MAKASA begonnen waarmee we reizen naar Tanzania organiseren. Privéreizen en helemaal op maat. We zijn echte experts op het gebied van safari’s in Tanzania. We hebben onze eigen jeeps en een team van fantastische gidsen. Veel van onze klanten zijn Nederlands en we bezoeken dan ook jaarlijks de vakantiebeurzen in Amsterdam, Utrecht en Breda.
Onze kinderen gaan naar de Internationale School in Moshi en in deze vlogs proberen we jullie een kijkje te geven in ons persoonlijke en zakelijke leven. Elke zondag zal er een nieuwe video online staan.

Hermanus to Hwange - The Long Drive
We set out on our journey from Hermanus, South Africa to Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe. We travel for 3 days across 2 borders and eventually arrive at Bomani Tented Lodge on a concession in Hwange ( For the next 3 weeks, we will be filming wildlife, testing equipment, camping, and staying at lodges in National Parks.In this series, we are filming in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe with Imvelo Safari Lodges. From there we travel North, up through the park to Victoria Falls and we camp for a few nights next to the Zambezi River in the Zambezi National Park. Then we move across to Botswana and stay at Pangolin Chobe hotel for a night before camping for a few nights in Chobe National Park at Ihaha campsite. Then we take the long and scenic route home across the Caprivi strip and down through Namibia.

Behind-the-scenes shot on a GoPro Hero 10. For the telephoto wildlife shots we used a Canon 200-400mm f4 lens on a Red V-Raptor camera. Moving shots were done using a Red Komodo 6K with a Sigma 18-35 f1.8 or Canon 14mm f2.8. Aerials filmed using a Mavic Air 2s.
