It is quite an understated region of Italy and only little known to the global tourists. Charming and unpretentious, rustic and beautiful, real. Great food and tons of beaches, absolutely a destination to be explored. We chose the places almost randomly, with minimal research, but only realized later that there are so many other beautiful towns and villages that we still have to explore in the future.

The village has a very nice (car-free) centre with dozens of traditional restaurants and small cafès, and a very nice beach. Many hiking trails start directly in the centre, with which the surroundings and the Ligurian mountains can be explored.
