Elbląg is a city in northern Poland on the eastern edge of the Żuławy region with 118,582 inhabitants (December 2020). It is the capital of Elbląg County and has been assigned (since 1999) to the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. Previously it was the capital of Elbląg Voivodeship (1975–1998) and a county seat within Gdańsk Voivodeship (1945–1975).
Elbląg is one of the oldest cities in the province. Its history dates back to 1237, when the Teutonic Order constructed their fortified stronghold on the banks of a nearby river. The castle subsequently served as the official seat of the Teutonic Order Masters.
Elbląg became part of the Hanseatic League, which contributed much to the city's wealth. Through the Hansa agreement, the city was linked to other major ports like Gdańsk, Lübeck and Amsterdam. Elbląg joined Poland in 1454 and after the defeat of the Teutonic Knights in the Thirteen Years’ War was recognized as part of Poland in the Second Peace of Thorn in 1466. It then flourished and turned into a significant trading point, but its growth was eventually hindered by the Second Northern War and the Swedish Deluge.
The city was transferred to Prussia after the first partition of Poland in 1772. Its trading role greatly weakened, until the era of industrialization, which occurred in the 19th century. It was then that the famous Elbląg Canal was commissioned.
After World War II the city again became part of Poland. The war casualties were catastrophic, especially the severe destruction of the Old Town district, one of the grandest in East Prussia.
Today, Elbląg has over 120,000 inhabitants and is a vibrant city with an attractive tourist base. It serves as an academic and financial center and among its numerous historic monuments is the Market Gate from 1309 and St. Nicholas Cathedral. Elbląg is also known for its archaeological sites, museums and the largest brewery in the country.
The Elbląg Canal, built in 1825–44 under Prussia, is a tourist site of Elbląg. The canal is believed to be one of the most important monuments related to the history of engineering and has been named one of the Seven Wonders of Poland. The canal was also named one of Poland's official national Historic Monuments (Pomnik historii) in 2011. Its listing is maintained by the National Heritage Board of Poland.
And like you expect it, the clips are filmed in 4K HDR (60fps) resolution!

Gdańsk Bay, Chałupy, Pomerania, Poland, Europe
Gdansk Bay is a southeastern bay of the Baltic Sea. It is named after the adjacent port city of Gdańsk in Poland and is sometimes referred to as the Gulf of Gdańsk. The western part of Gdańsk Bay is formed by the shallow waters of the Bay of Puck. The southeastern part is the Vistula Lagoon, separated by the Vistula Spit and connected to the open sea by the Strait of Baltiysk. The bay is enclosed by a large curve of the shores of Gdańsk Pomerania in Poland and the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia. The coast of the bay features two very long sandspits, the Hel peninsula and the Vistula Spit. The first one defines the Bay of Puck, the latter one defines the Vistula Lagoon. The maximum depth is 120 meters, and it has a salinity of 0.7%. The major ports and coastal cities are Gdańsk, Gdynia, Puck, Sopot, Hel, Kaliningrad, Primorsk, and Baltiysk. The main rivers of Gdańsk Bay are the Vistula and the Pregolya. The bay receives the waters of the Vistula directly via three branches the Leniwka, the Śmiała Wisła, and the Martwa Wisła and indirectly via the Vistula Lagoon with two branches, the Nogat and the Szkarpawa. By nautic definition, the Bay of Gdańsk is much larger, including also the area of the Baltic Sea in front of the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad and the Lithuanian coast. The bayshore was the setting of a naval bombardment during the Invasion of Poland (1939), the first combat action of World War II. The bay plays a pivotal role in the American animated television series Metalocalypse. While today the Kursenieki, also known as Kuršininkai are a nearly extinct Baltic ethnic group living along the Curonian Spit. In 1649 Kuršininkai settlement spanned from Memel (Klaipėda) to Danzig (Gdańsk). The Kuršininkai were eventually assimilated by the Germans, except along the Curonian Spit where some still live. The Kuršininkai were considered Latvians until after World War I when Latvia gained independence from the Russian Empire, a consideration based on linguistic arguments. This was the rationale for Latvian claims over the Curonian Spit, Memel, and other territories of East Prussia which would be later dropped.

Балтийск. Коса и аэродром. Калининградская область. Россия [2023] Прогулка без слов | RO LIVE TRAVEL

Krynica Morska, Poland
The Vistula Spit offers wonderful opportunities for motorhomers in summer. With sea, forest and beaches on both sides, there are plenty of places to spend the day - and although in theory one is not allowed to camp there no-one has ever moved me on. Krynica Morska is the main town on the spit.
Before 1945 the area was part of East Prussia (within Germany from 1870) and was known as Kahlberg. The settlement was first mentioned in 1424, and became a summer resort around 1840. Following World War II the native German populace was expelledand replaced by Poles. When it came under Polish rule after the Second World War, it was given the name Łysica (the Polish rootłys- corresponding to the German kahl, meaning bald). In 1958 it was renamed Krynica Morska (Krynica is an obsolete, poetic term for spring; Morska meaning of the sea, i.e., sea spring or seaside spring) as opposition to the other famous Polish resort of Krynica.
Krynica Morska is the main tourist destination on the Vistula Spit. The administrative area of the town extends along most of the Polish part of the spit, up to the Russian border, also including a number of other localities such as Przebrno and Piaski (the latter being about 4 kilometres from the border, which is not crossable at present).
The Lighthouse in Krynica Morska was originally built in 1895. It was destroyed in 1945 after being mined by retreating German forces. A new lighthouse, now open to visitors, was built in 1951. Adjacent to it is a small cemetery with a monument to the Sovietsoldiers killed in the explosion that destroyed the original building.
