Yegyi is one of the townships towns in Ayeyarwady Region in Myanmar. it is about 86 kilometres northeast of Pathein. I have been to Yegyi a long long time ago. I have not had train travel in Myanmar for a long time.
We have one and a half hour to explore Yegyi during our visit.
Yegyi is a peaceful town in Ayeyarwady Division. There are many shops and we can get most goods from here. Most Myanmar shop early in the morning to get fresh meats and vegetables.
There are many tea shops in most markets in Myanmar. Tea shops have been a long-standing part of Myanmar’s cultural history.
Tea shops are not just where people go to get good cheap food, people go for all matters of life. People meet with friends, tease each other, tell some jokes, gossiping, discussion about what’s going on locally and in the world.

The Thi-ho Shin Pagoda
The Thi-ho Shin is one of the most famous pagodas in Pakokku. It was built by King Alaungsithu. The pagoda contains an image presented by the King of Ceylon some 800 years ago and the image is one of the most revered in Myanmar. The festival of the Thiho Shin Pagoda is held from 8th waxing to the 10th waning day of Nayon (June), with traditional plays and zat pwes (although not, for the last few years, puppet shows). Lacal specialities such as thanakha logs. Jaggery, a-nyar longyis and checked cotton and wool blankets are sold in the festival. This is a typical a-nyar (Upper Myanmar) festival

Bagan is a historic city in Myanmar's Mandalay Region that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city was the capital of the Bagan Kingdom from the 9th to the 13th century, the first kingdom to unite the provinces that would later become Myanmar.

Bagan was founded in the second century AD, and fortified in 849 AD by King Pyinbya, the 34th successor of the founder of early Bagan, according to Burmese chronicles.
Bagan is called the Land of 3000 Pagodas because of the 3822 Buddhist temples, pagodas, and monasteries located on the plains. From the 11th through the 13th centuries, Bagan was the capital and cultural center of the Pagan Empire.
The plains of Bagan's historic city contain around 2,000 remarkably intact temples and pagodas. Bagan is located in Myanmar's central plains, in the Mandalay Region (near the boundary of the Magway Region). The city is located on the eastern bank of the Irrawaddy River, about 180 kilometers southwest of Mandalay.
The best way to observe Bagan's temples is from a high vantage point, and there's no higher (or more jaw-droppingly gorgeous) vantage point than 2,000 feet above the earth in a hot air balloon. Unlike helicopter and ultralight flights, balloon flights are exceedingly quiet and motionless, which, combined with the sunrise's reddish angled light, creates the best conditions for viewing Bagan's temple plain. If you're visiting during the brief ballooning season, include ballooning above Bagan on your itinerary (October to mid-April).
Most temples allowed people to climb to the upper decks before tourism became a significant concern in Bagan. However, when rising tourist traffic and a few accidents tainted the temple-climbing experience, the government stepped in: visitors are limited to climbing only five temples in Bagan, and more restrictions can be declared at any time.
If you wish to see Myanmar's most popular site, Bagan is a must-see. Bagan is a sprawling assemblage of 2000 Buddhist pagodas, stupas, and temples along the Irrawaddy River.
Those who do make the journey will discover that much of the country is completely safe. Yangon, Bagan, Inle Lake, Mandalay, Hsipaw, Kiyakto, and the Mergui Archipelago, in general, have no tourist restrictions and pose little risk to leisure travelers.
