Is Akko, Israel WORTH VISITING? 🇮🇱
*AKKO (ACRE), ISRAEL: Akko is one of the best places to visit in Northern Israel thanks to its diverse heritage. The city was ruled by the Crusaders as well as the Ottoman Empire and still has well-preserved structures from those eras. Join me as I explore the city, marvel at its crusader fortress, get lost in medieval alleyways, and visit a Turkish hammam.

Beautiful Natural Pond in the Galilee (Ein-Nun)

Galilee video tour | Horns of Hittin & Nabi Shu'ayb
with David Hyman, professional Israeli tour guide to less-visited areas of the Galilee region. We will start by visiting the holiest shrine and pilgrimage destination for the Druze community in Israel. The tomb of Nabi Shu'ayb ( Prophet Jethro). The Druze community is a small minority in Israel and they live in villages and small towns in Galilee, Carmel, and the Golan Heights. They belong to a monotheistic faith called El Muwachidun, and other communities can be found in Lebanon and Syria. We spent some time at this holy and spiritual site and watched many Druze families visit the tomb and pay their respect. We then started climbing the mountain of Karney Hittin ( The Horns of Hattin) and on the way up we spotted an extremely interesting plant = the Mandrake plant. We arrived at the summit of Mount Hattin and retraced the details of the famous battle that happened here in the year 1187, July 4th. The Crusader army recruited all the fighting forces possible, to confront the Muslim army that placed a siege on Tiberias. The two armies clashed on the Horns of Hittin. The Muslims under their leader Salah A din ( Saladin) circled the crusaders and set fire to the fields. The Crusader army under king Guy De Lesignian suffered from the heat and lack of water and their lines broke. the result of the battle was devastating for the crusader kingdom. The majority of the army were killed, many were taken prisoners and others escaped. The Crusaders lost Jerusalem and 70 years later, they lost the entire country and that ended the 200 years of the crusader period.

My name is Zahi Shaked
In 2000 I became a registered liscenced tourist guide.
My dedication in life is to pass on the ancient history of the Holy Land.
Following upon many years of travel around the world, which was highlighted by a very exciting emotional and soul-searching meeting with the Dalai Lama, I realized that I had a mission. To pass on the the history of the Holy Land, its religions, and in particular, the birth and development of Christianity.
In order to fulfill this calling in the best way possible, I studied in depth, visited, and personally experienced each and every important site of the ancient Christians. I studied for and received my first bachelors degree in the ancient history of the Holy Land, and am presently completing my studies for my second degree.(Masters)
Parralel to my studies, and in order to earn a living, I was employed for many years in advertising. What I learned there was how to attract the publics attention, generate and, increase interest, and assimilate information. All this I use as tools to describe, explain and deepen the interest in the sites that we visit. From my experience, I have learned that in this way, the Holy Land becomes more than just history, and that the large stones that we see scattered about in dissaray, join together one by one until they become - a Byzantine Church. This also happens when I lead a group of Pilgrims in the Steps of Jesus. We climb to the peak of Mount Precipice, glide over the land to the Sea of Galilee, land on the water and see the miracle which enfolds before us. This is a many faceted experience. Not only history which you will remember and cherish, but an experience which I hope will be inplanted in your hearts and minds, and will accompany you all the days of your life.

MAGDALA,ISRAEL/FIRST CENTURY SYNAGOGUE WHERE JESUS TAUGHT/MIGDAL STONE/MANSION &MIKVAOT/CRIS TV #magdala #israel #walkwherejesustaught
The first century synagogue where jesus taught. This is synagogue in Magdala is currently the oldest excavated in Galilee and one of seven from the first century in all of Israel. A coin minted in Tiberias in 29 CE was found inside the synagogue, proving that the synagogue was from the first century and the time of Christ’s ministry. Since the Bible tells us that Jesus taught throughout the Galilee, it is certain that he taught and frequented this very spot.
The synagogue is well preserved and included an entrance hall that also served as a study room (Bet Midrash), and a chamber for storing the Torah scrolls. #israeltour #travelto #magdalasynagogue #synagogue #oldestsynagogue #jerusalem #holyland #promiseland #bible #2020 #2021 #migdal #stone #menorah
Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. (Matthew 4:23 – NIV)
☆The Magdala Stone-Oldest carving of the menorah. One of the most significant recent archaeological finds in the Holy Land, the Magdala Stone holds clues that will help scholars establish a more complete picture of first century Judaism. The Magdala Stone is likely the earliest known artistic depiction of the Second Temple.
The front of the stone depicts the oldest carved image of the Second Temple’s seven-branched menorah ever found, and it is this discovery that has produced intense excitement among the archaeologists at Magdala.
The long side of the stone depicts the side of a building with pillared archways, with three dimensional design to create the illusion of appearing inside the temple.
The back of the stone depicts a pillared structure with two wheels above a geometric shape, illustrating fire. Presumably, the front and sides of the stone carvings represent the Second Temple in Jerusalem, and the back side depicting wheels and fire represents the Holy of Holies.
Also of great interest to scholars examining the stone is the large rosette on the top side of the stone, consisting of six petals surrounded by six identical petals. The symbolic meaning of this rosette has not yet been established, but the number twelve could relate to a number of biblical traditions and its prominence on the stone indicates it is certainly of great significance.
The stone is covered in decorative symbols relating to the structure of the Temple and ceremonial Jewish objects that may unlock many unsolved mysteries which have long baffled archaeologists.#park #archeology #temple #holy #holies #symbols #jars #pillars #palmtree #tree
☆Mansion & Mikvaot
Street with buildings and three rare mikvaot.Magdala was clearly an influential and prosperous city in its time, as evidenced by the elaborately decorated buildings which have been found here. Several buildings identified as mansions, most likely the homes of Magdala’s wealthy merchants, are located along a street south of the synagogue. These mansions were paved with colorful and intricate mosaic floors, which can still be seen today. Another impressive feature of the city are the three mikvaot (ritual baths) which are the earliest ever discovered in the country to use ground water. The sophisticated plumbing of these mikvaot is one more proof that Magdala was at the forefront of regional commerce and culture in the first century.

VEGETARIAN VILLAGE-Amirim, exploring the North of Israel (אמירים, ישראל)
******Available in HD******
Hi, everybody!
Today I'm taking you with me to the North of Israel:
We will be staying in Amirim (אמירים), which is a village established by vegetarian people, in a zimmer (צימר) which
is a very nice BB chalet, everything with a view for the Sea of Galilee (יָם כִּנֶּרֶת),
I'll give you a small room-tour, it was just great... pity the jaccuzzi didn't work :(
Next day we went hiking to Michmanim (מִכְמַנִּים). To start with, we'll see a beautiful view of the city
Karmiel (כרמיאל) and later we'll pass by the village called Kammaneh (Arabic: الكمانه, Hebrew: כמאנה), founded by
Bedouins. We'll also climb Mount Kamun, the highest peak in the Lower Galilee.
Back to Amirim, I managed to record the time-lapse of the sunset facing the Sea of Galilee,
I hope you enjoyed coming with us, if you really wanna stay in the same place as we did, here is the link:
Thank you very much for watching, don't forget to subscribe my channel and visit my social media!
Hope to see you next time,

Israel from above | Travel the Holy Land by Drone | Karmiel
The city of Karmiel lies on the main road between Akko and Tzefat, in the heart of the Beit Kerem Valley. One of Israel’s few “planned cities,” this beautiful, unique, and modern city boasts continuous municipal activity to keep the city clean, and an insistence on a standard of living that is higher than average. Karmiel has been awarded numerous national prizes in areas such as quality of life, management, road safety, and most notably, immigrant absorption. Since 1997, Karmiel has been awarded five stars in a competition designed to create a more beautiful Israel and is annually awarded the Minister of Interior Prize for Financial Management. In short, Karmiel offers its residents a truly exceptional quality of life.
