Water Springs of Leningrad Region, Russia (Part 1/2) St Petersburg Area
September, 18-19th, joined the expedition of Saint Petersburg bloggers in collaboration with Russian Geology Society to explore the natural water springs located in Leningrad Region (which is actually St Petersburg region as Leningrad is the name of the city during Soviet Times).
We were checking the water springs by GPS-locations which people sent to Russian Geology Society and were taking the probes in each spring for further expertise of Russian Geology laboratory.
After there's going to be a whole online map of water springs with exact GPS-locations and the main thing results of an expertise.

My name is Thomas Dyrehauge. I am 35 years old and from Denmark. I have spent many years of my life at sea.
From 2010 to 2020 I worked at sea in the Danish shipping company TORM A/S on board oil and chemical tankers world wide. I worked on board in the following positions: Deck Cadet, 3rd Officer, 2nd Officer and Chief Officer.
From 2020 to 2024 I worked ashore as an Assistant Harbour Master at The Port of Aalborg, Denmark.
Since May 2024 I have worked at sea in the Danish shipping company DFDS A/S as a Deck Officer on board ro-ro passenger and cargo ships. I now work permanently on board the ro-ro cargo ship SCANDIA SEAWAYS.
Earlier I have also sailed on fully rigged training ships both as a trainee and an officer and on board offshore crew transfer vessels as an officer. In my spare time I love sailing sailboats.

On September 16, 2020, we arrived in St. Petersburg to take pictures of various locomotives, as well as to get acquainted with the new trams, trolleybuses and metro trains that began operating in St. Petersburg. This is the first part in which we photograph the trains between Voiskovitsy and Elizavetino. When I shot this video, I didn't have a lavalier microphone yet. If the sound is bad, turn on subtitles. Nizhny Novgorod: russian tram zoo. More than 10 models run in one city!
On May 2, 2021, I visited Nizhny Novgorod. There are neat trams and trolleybuses, a cozy metro. In this video, we ride Tatra trams, and we look at other models from the outside: trams KTM-5, KTM-8, KTM-19, KTM-23, Tatra T3, Tatra T6B5, LM-2008, 71-405. No other city in Russia has such a variety of trams. Trolleybuses in Nizhny Novgorod are tidy, but not as diverse as trams. These are ZIU-9 and similar machines. Happy viewing!
