Camping Prodnik - Savinja Valley
Camping Prodnik is a new campsite in the Savinja Valley in Slovenia. It is a small campsite located in the more well-known Prodnik Sports Centre and Guesthouse, where rooms are also available. The campsite is 10 km from Mozirje and 4 km from Ljubno ob Savinji.
The campsite Prodnik is located next to the guest house, 50 metres from the Savinja River, where there are 12 pitches for caravans and motorhomes and 20 pitches for tents. All pitches have electricity and water.
The new campsite includes a modern sanitary facility, which is heated and adapted for disabled people. There is also a modern caravan storage area.
Dogs are also welcome and have their own shower, but can also bathe in the Savinja River.
Camping Prodnik location is interesting for enjoying the riverside, where you can also go swimming in the summer months, and they also offer rafting, kayaking and canoeing on the Savinja. The campsite also offers bicycle rental. The Savinja River also offers an excellent fishing experience.
From the campsite, there are numerous hiking and cycling trails through the local mountains, you can hike to the Golte Mountains or take a trip to the Logarska dolina and the Rinka Waterfall, or to Mozirje, where you can also visit the Mozirski gaj park. We also recommend a visit to the Snow Cave, which is the highest tourist cave in Slovenia, cycling along the Solčava Panoramic Road, the ethno village of Luce and the Flosar Museum in Ljubno.
The campsite also includes the Prodnik guest house, where there are 16 rooms for two people with the possibility of arranging extra beds, a meeting room, a sauna and a fitness centre. There is also a beach volleyball court.
The guest house pampers guests with local delicacies, from rich breakfasts to tasty lunches and dinners. Plates include Savinja stomach, strudels, various soups, steaks and grilled fish and squid. Vegetarian dishes are also on the menu. There is also a wine cellar.

Fliegenfischen an der Savinja im Oberlauf, Revier 2 Ljubno ob Savinji - Orvis Superfine Glass
Der Revierabschnitt #2 beginnend beim Zusammenfluss mit der Lucnica flussabwärts bis zur Brücke oberhalb von Ljubno. Gefischt wird auf einer Länge von ca. 10 km, geprägt von schnellem Wasser und abwechslungsreichen Passagen. Das Fischen auf Sicht mit der Trockenfliege und kleinen Nyphen ist hier besonders erfolgreich.

Herbal glamping resort Ljubno has 10 modern glamping tents offering everything for comfortable and romantic holidays or weekend in nature. Glamorous tent can in two bedrooms host up to 4 adults, while two additional persons can sleep on the couch in living room. Each tent has its own bathroom.
All tents have television, free internet access and air conditioning. For relaxation you can use Jacuzzi that each tent has just next to it, while all guests of Herbal glamping can saunas free of charge.
Herbal glamping is architecture that is taking care of the nature and is offering you complete privacy and relaxation. Village of tents will be enriched with natural swimming pool and common place with fireplace.
Whole village will be surrounded with herbal and vegetable gardens. In the main building, you will find restaurant, where you will be able to see a chef at work. All dishes will be prepared from ecological ingredients, while all the herbs and spices will be daily fresh from their garden.
For curious guests special workshops about herbs used in cosmetics, liquors, teas and in cooking will be organized. Everyone will be able to learn which part of the plant is good for what and how to prepare it to keep all the good and healthy ingredients inside.
