They say records are meant to be broken, but I don't think they were talking about temperatures.

The United States is experiencing the worst heatwave on record, as is much of Europe. Records are being broken daily in many countries around the world, but there are a few places where it's still nice and cool, even when they break records.

In this video, you'll learn about 10 countries that have more stable weather, and cooler overall temps throughout the year than the US and southern Europe. Several have 4 seasons, but others have mostly the same cool temperatures year round.

You can get a 90 day tourist visa to wait out the hot summer in all 10, and you can apply for residency in several so you can stay longer if you wish.

You don't have to suffer through the heat. You can escape to better places!

Stoke Place in Slough, UK | Room & Hotel Tour | Linton Room

The Stoke Place country house hotel is located just 30 minutes away from London, nestled within a 26 acre estate of beautiful parkland. Built in 1690 for Patrick Lamb, a master cook to several English monarchs, the house remained a private residence until 1962.

I stayed at this hotel in November 2021, while the house was full of festive Christmas decorations. My room, called Linton, is on the first floor and looked out over the front garden.

This video gives you an impression of the hotel and the Linton room.

10 Most Mystical Places in Britain

Where are the 10 most mystical places in Britain? Britain has so many magical places to visit that sometimes it is hard to differentiate reality from fiction. As we proceed to today's business, we encourage you to watch until the end and remember to subscribe to this channel for more interesting videos.

TEN. Animate stones, Bowerman’s Nose, Devon
Bowerman’s Nose, located in Devon, a ceremonial county in England. Bowerman's Nose is a pile of weathered granite on Devon's Dartmoor, and it has the air of an ancient megalithic idol as it gazes out over the landscape towards Hameldown Tor.

NINE. Arthur, legendary hero, Cadbury Castle, Somerset
Cadbury Castle, an ancient bronze and iron age hillfort located in the civil parish of South Cadbury. The hillfort, a scheduled monument surrounded by ramparts and formed by a 7.28-hectare plateau, has been associated with King Arthur and is believed by many to be the site of King Arthur's legendary Camelot, who lived around the 5th or 6th century.

EIGHT. Fertility gap, Traprain Law, East Lothian
Known for its rocky volcanic features, Traprain Law, located 1½ miles south of East Linton village in Lothian, Traprain Law is one of Scotland's most important archaeological sites and was once the capital of the Romano-British kingdom of Gododdin.

SEVEN. Mother goddess, Tigh Nam Bodach, Perthshire
At the shrine of Tigh Nam Bodach, located at Glen Cailliche north of Loch Lyon, lies a stone structure that resembles a turf roof and river-worn stones. The largest stone is believed to represent the Cailleach, the Celtic crone goddess who presides over the land and brings the changing seasons.

SIX. Celtic saints, Nevern churchyard, Pembrokeshire
Popular for its ancient carved stones and marvelous bleeding yew tree, the churchyard at Nevern is one of the mystical places in Britain. Located conspicuously beside the church stands the Never Great Cross, which is a four-metre-high Celtic cross entirely covered in intricate knotwork designs in a Scandinavian style.

FIVE. Wishes and divination, Fairy Steps, Cumbria
On the edge of Whin Scar's Plateau, west of Beetham in Underlaid Wood is a set of steep stones ascending a narrow aperture. Legend says the steep rocks are said to be hunted by the fairies who have been seen roaming the place.

FOUR. Dropped by clumsy giants, Stiperstones, Shropshire
The Stiperstones usually rise above a windswept expanse of moorland and form a lengthy, jagged ridge of rocks. When at its peak, it is referred to as the Devil's Chair because local legends claim that It is at this point that a giant, referred to as the devil, took a rest accompanied by his apron-load of stone from Ireland.

THREE. Enchanted forest, Puzzlewood, Gloucestershire
Puzzlewood, located in the enchanting Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, is a mystical woodland filled with winding pathways, ancient trees, and curious rock formations. This otherworldly forest has been the inspiration for numerous fantasy tales and served as a filming location for movies and TV shows.

TWO. Water spirits, Llyn Barfog, Gwynedd
Britain is Llyn Barfog, located in a remote spot in the hills above the Dyfi estuary on the boundary between Gwynedd and Ceredigion. Legends claim that Llyn Barfog was once the residence of the Afanc, a water monster that ravaged the region, damaging livestock until King Arthur ultimately rode off it.

ONE. A place of healing, Menacuddle Well, Cornwall
Menacuddle Well is situated among ornamental gardens adjacent to a river and a waterfall on the outskirts of St Austell in Cornwall.
The holy well was constructed in the 15th century and restored by Admiral Sir Charles John Graves-Sawle in memory of his son killed during the First World War.

Could this be Indiana's best waterfall?

Cataract Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in Owen County Indiana in between Terre Haute and Indianapolis. The largest falls by volume in the entire state. Cataract Falls consists of two falls, the upper and lower portion, the upper being a 45 foot drop and the lower being around 30. Amazing scenery to be had here, and great opportunities for a picnic with the family.
