What's it like living in Lemoore, California? Is there anything to do in this tiny town? We lived in Lemoore for well over a year. About 30-50 minutes from the larger cities of Fresno and Visalia, Lemoore gets a bad reputation (especially amongst military members) for being in the middle of nowhere. Contrary to popular belief, there are a few things to do in town. Additionally, there are many close road trips you can take. These include trips to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Pismo Beach, San Francisco and many more!

Our Lemoore/Hanford Vacation Weekend Outing (July 25 27, 2014)
Watch in high quality (480p). In this video, it shows our mini, random Hanford/Lemoore vacation outing. It was my sis, me, Richie, and cousins Steven and Jesse that went on this unexpected trip down to Hanford/Lemoore, CA.
We had stayed at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino located in Lemoore, CA. It was like an oasis in the middle of farmlands! The hotel was free since Auntie Elsa had offered it to us. The hotel stay was free since Auntie Elsa had got it from a friend or so.
We had arrived to the hotel just before 9:45 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2014. We met Auntie Elsa and the rest of the family there.
Then on the very next day, we went swimming a bit around the resort. The weather was quite warm already during the morning hours! Afterwards, we went to Auntie's bakery to eat our late breakfast, or lunch. Then we went to the Naval Air Station in Lemoore to see their awesome Navy jets up close and personal! It was very cool! The weather was around triple digits at the time...phew! After checking out the planes, we made a brief stop at the Lemoore Navy Exchange. After that, went around Hanford and ate some awesome ice cream at the Superior Dairy! At this time, Uncle Belo and Auntie Elsa were back at the bakery. Their ice cream servings were huge! We also hung out around the Civic Center Park. We ended the day by heading back to the bakery and finally doing Racquelle's photoshoot...the main reason why we came. It was still warm even by nightfall! This ends our first and only full day here.
Then by Sunday, July 27, 2014, we left the hotel just after 9 a.m. and headed to Auntie Elsa's house in Hanford, CA to meet with them since we were attending church with them. Their church was the GTC, or Glad Tidings Church. After service, we went to eat lunch at Super Buffet. Us young ones stopped at Jamba Juice after the buffet while Auntie and Uncle went back home.
We spent the remainder of our stay at Hanford at Uncle's house, just chilling and playing games and whatnot. We finally headed home just after 4:30 p.m. Boy, the weather was hot hot hot! Despite the triple digit heat, we had a nice time hanging out with our family in Hanford!

Me and My Family's Presidents Day Trip To Lemoore, CA (Monday, February 18, 2013)
Watch in high quality (480p). In this video, it shows me & my family travel to Lemoore, CA to visit Auntie Elsa's bakery there on this lovely Presidents Day holiday of Monday, February 18, 2013.
We left San Jose, CA around 9:15 a.m. and it was gloomy/misty. When we got to the San Luis Reservoir along CA 152, the sun came out fast. And since it was so beautiful and sunny here (despite the windy conditions), we stopped at the Romero Visitors Center to view the San Luis Reservoir. It was a breathtaking sight, despite the winds. We haven't been here in years so it was awesome!
Afterwards, we continued towards I-5 and after a while, we stopped at Firebaugh, CA to eat our lunch at the Fosters Freeze. I got the fish fillet sandwich meal with a strawberry shake. Then it was nearing noon so we then continued our long trek down south towards Lemoore along I-5.
By just after 12:25 p.m., we arrived to the Harris Ranch, just along CA 198 eastbound and continued the remaining 27 miles or so to Lemoore. Pretty much there was all farmland and open valley much of the way between Harris Ranch and Lemoore. We passed by the Lemoore NAS on the left side, shortly before exiting onto Lemoore Ave.
We finally made it safely to Auntie Elsa's bakery; Trinity Justo Bakery, located in Downtown Lemoore! It smelled good once I got into the bakery. The place was just as I remembered...felt like home. No food was out though since they were closed due to Presidents Day. Then I did a 360-degree view from inside the bakery.
Later, me, my sis & my cousins Ben and Racquelle went out to the Lemoore NEX (Navy Exchange) to do some shopping and whatnot. We mostly just looked at the doggie accessories or so haha! And then it was just after 3 p.m. and we headed back to the bakery. Indeed, there's not much to do here in Lemoore. We ate our early dinner/late lunch once we got back to the bakery. We had spaghetti, sinigang and more!
Then by late afternoon or so, me, my sis and cousins went to the railroad tracks just nearby from the bakery to do some photo-shooting...while I did my own thing lol. Ben and Racquelle were the ones mostly being taken photos of.
By sunset, I went out again (while the rest of us were back in the bakery just chilling and whatnot) by the empty outdoor area/shelter thingy to see the sunset. Only photos were shown in the video of the sunset.
It was now getting late and so we left Auntie Elsa's bakery around 6:45 p.m. or so. We, however, had to get gas at Velero at around 7:20 p.m. Then as we were around Gilroy, CA, we stopped at the McD's there to try the new Fish McBites. It was a great Presidents Day outing indeed! A few more photos throughout the duration of our trip was shown in the remainder of the video.

Our Day Out Around Lemoore/Tulare, CA (Monday, June 8, 2015)
It was finally my summer vacation! Me and my folks had a nice outing to the Central Valley, particularly around the LemooreHanfordTulare, CA areas. However, we went to the valley in a bad timing since it was the same time when temps sizzled well over 100 degrees! This video in particular shows our day out around Lemoore, CA, including some of our time in Tulare. This was our one and only full day here in the Central Valley during our trip here...
Rundown of our Central Valley outing:
We left to head to the Central Valley on June 7, 2015. The Golden State Warriors were having a game this same evening as well, so we watched it once we got to our hotel, at the Tachi Palace Hotel in Lemoore, CA. We then ate dinner at the buffet, the Pork Chop Hill Buffet. Then the very next day on June 8, 2015, we visited Auntie's bakery, which was just a short drive from the hotel. We ate our breakfastlunch there. For me, I just chilled there a bit while the rest of us did our own thing. It was too hot to be outside anyways! Then later, we headed to Tulare, CA to do some business. Boy, it was super hot even at Tulare...reaching a sizzling 106 F there! After I waited for many hours, we were done with our appointment there. Upon heading out like around the 10 p.m. hour, temps were still pretty warm outside, in the upper 80s! Yup, welcome to the valley! We stopped by Jack in the Box for some dinner and then we tried to search for a hotel to sleep. Unluckily, the hotels around Lemoore were fully booked so we just drove to the Harris Ranch hotel, located around Coalinga, CA. I drove the rest of the way to the hotel since my dad was super tired. It was already well past midnight at the time... By June 9, 2015, after enjoying the Harris Ranch hotel briefly, we called it a trip and headed back home... We stopped by Hometown Buffet in Gilroy, CA for our lunch. It was a nice mini outing to the Central Valley, despite the heat!
