A4 Bath Road is major road in Slough....
The A4 is a major road in England from Central London to Avonmouth via Heathrow Airport, Slough ,Reading, Bath and Bristol.
Slough (/slaʊ/) is a large town in Berkshire, England, 20 miles (32 km) west of central London and 18 miles (29 km) north-east of Reading, in the Thames Valley at the intersection of the M4, M40 and M25 motorways
Slough has expanded greatly, incorporating a number of different villages. Original villages that are now suburbs of Slough include Chalvey, Cippenham, Colnbrook, Langley, Poyle, Upton, Wexham , Brands Hill, Britwell, Huntercombe, Manor Park, Salt Hill, Upton Lea and Windsor Meadows.
The urban area merges into the neighbouring parishes of Burnham, a small area of Taplow near Cippenham, Farnham Royal and Stoke Poges which remain in the county of Buckinghamshire and Datchet which is also in Berkshire. Eton is narrowly buffered by the Jubilee River and by green space (mainly the college playing fields) from part of Slough.

Top 10 Things To Do In Westminster UK - London Attractions
Is your coming destination Westminster? Do you want to get some recommendations for the top attractions that you are supposed to start your journey with? Let us take you through a tour that would inform you about the top 10 things to do in the City of Westminster.
The city of Westminster in an Inner London borough which also hold city status, it occupies much of the central area of Greater London, including most of the West End. It is to the west of and adjoining the ancient City of London, directly to the east of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, and its southern boundary is the River Thames.
There are some suggestions related to the places to visit in the city of Westminster and these would include:
10 - Take a Walk Around Hyde Park: Westminster might be mostly known for its parks and one of the most famous is Hyde Park, which tourists from around the world come to it planning to check what it actually has to offer them from cafes, water, beautiful walks and lots of other things which they could do there (
9 - Explore Parliament Square: Parliament Square is a square at the northwest end of the Palace of Westminster in central London. The reason why it is one of the recommended places is the fact that it features a large green open area in the center with trees to its west and it also contains twelve statues of statesmen and other notable individuals.
8 - Visit Kensington Gardens: there are lots of different gardens scattered all around Westminster and London and one of those famous and important ones, Kensington Gardens stands on the list. In Kensington Gardens one could visit the Kensington Palace ( or check the Albert Memorial ( which are both found inside this kind of Royal garden (
7 - Visit Millennium Bridge: if you ask anyone travelling to Westminster or London in general about the most famous bridges they want to visit, they will mention London bridge and they will of course have the Tower bridge on their long list, but some people might forget about Millennium bridge which is another interesting one for people to have a walk across. This bridge actually links the bankside to the city of London and it crosses River Thames.
6 - Take a Selfie at 10 Downing Street: 10 Downing street has been known as the local of prime ministers since 1735 and this is one of the reasons why people love to go and check the place just from the outside and no matter if they took a couple of selfies or pictures there.
5 - Visit the Tate Modern: this is also one of the free things that tourists and visitors could do in London since the entrance is without any charges. Tate Modern is a modern art gallery museum in London and is Britain's National gallery of international modern art and also forms part of the Tate group (
4 - Explore the Supreme Court: for some tourists and visitors, this might not be the place they would go to and visit in the real world, but for others who are interested in such things, the Supreme Court is one interesting thing for them to go to. The Supreme Court in the United Kingdom is the supreme court in all matters under English and Welsh law, Northern Irish law and Scottish Civil law.
3 - Ride the London Eye: London Eye is an interesting attraction to visit in Westminster because it offers great views over the city of London and that is actually the main reason why people love riding this wheel over River Thames whenever they come to London; it is worth it! (
2 - Visit Buckingham Palace: the Royal Palace in London where the Royal Family reside is one of the top attractions in Westminster and this is not only for seeing the whole building in general and the fountain in front of it, but some people love to check the change of the guards that happen there on specific times of the day (

10 Greenest Boroughs in London
What are the greenest areas in London? We live in an increasingly urbanized world which, if left with the pace of industrialization and growth, may soon become uninhabitable. Making our cities more environmentally friendly requires that all hands be on deck. Cities in the UK are sparing no effort when it comes to making more green space available for residents. Let’s now illustrate this by considering the 10 greenest boroughs in London.
Which ones of the 32 boroughs in London Boroughs are leading the way in this regard? You will find an interesting discussion in the ranking in this video based on what regional data elements such as pollution, quality of life, life expectancy, and available green spaces reveal about these 10 greenest boroughs in London.
10. Westminster
Let’s start with Westminster. This borough in Inner London forms a core part of Central London. This borough occupies a vast area of central Greater London and this includes most of the West End. Westminster is one of the greenest boroughs in London.
The borough has a population of 261,317, according to the 2019 estimate. The city's size is about 21.5 square kilometers. In the Green City Index which assigns scores to calculate how much green space is there in an area, Westminster scores 40.76 out of a possible score of 60. Westminster Borough is largely residential. It has many large parks and numerous open spaces, including Hyde Park and Regents Park. It’s a green borough despite its high population density.
9. Hammersmith & Fulham
This is a borough in West London that also forms part of Inner London. It was formed in 1965 by merging the former Metropolitan Boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham. It is one of the 10 greenest boroughs in London. It’s home to three professional soccer clubs, namely Chelsea, Fulham, and Queens Park Rangers.
Based on its total area of 16.40 square kilometers and its population of 186,143, it may have some challenges with its population density of 11,000 residents per kilometer square. Hammersmith & Fulham have a green space score of 41.05, doing well in all six criteria. It devotes 231 hectares of land to parks and open spaces accessible to the general public. Of these 159 hectares are within parks and 52.5 hectares are cemeteries and churchyards.
8. Croydon
Croydon, the southernmost borough of London, has transformed from a small market town into one of the most populous areas on the city’s fringe. It’s the eighth-greenest borough in London. With a total area of 86.5 square kilometers, Croydon is the second-largest borough in London and the fifteenth in England. It has a population of 386,710, according to the 2019 estimate.
Gone are the days when it was being criticized for not having enough leisure facilities and being ranked as a three-star borough. Its current green space score is 41.73 out of 60. This is not bad, you would agree. It has over 120 parks and open spaces, ranging from the 0.81 square kilometer Selsdon Wood Nature Reserve to so many recreation grounds and sports fields dotting the borough.
7. Merton
Merton borough was a product of the Municipal Borough of Mitcham, the Municipal Borough of Wimbledon, and the Merton and Morden Urban District. Occupying a total area of 37.6 square kilometers, its 2019 estimated population was 206,548.
Based on the criteria such as green outdoor space, green space percentage, air quality, number of parks, number of gardens, number of nature and wildlife areas, number of playgrounds, bodies of water, and number of forests, Merton gathers a total score of 42.73 in green space score.

Know about Croydon , London | UK
Hey guys, in this post, I’ll tell you about my view on whether it’s worth to live in Croydon London as well as the main pros and cons of living in Croydon.
As you all know London is one of the world’s leading capitals, and it’s a stunning multicultural city that has everything you can think of (except for affordable housing). There is a saying that if you’re tired of London, that means, you’re tired of life. Well, it’s a joke, of course, but I think you get it – London has it all.
Croydon is a large town in South London, England and Part of the London Borough of Croydon.
Thanks to substantial investment and development in recent years, it has become one of the largest shopping districts outside of central London and has a well-developed night-time economy.
Commuting is a big part of life for many people living in Croydon and working in central London. First time buyers in particular are attracted to the area by good value properties and the rapid travel time of as little as 18 minutes into central London on rail services. The Overground from West Croydon provides easy connections through New Cross and up into east London.
For moving around more locally, Croydon is home to London’s only tram line. This connects central and west Croydon to Beckenham, New Addington and Wimbledon which carries almost 30 million people annually.
Which zone is Croydon?
Croydon is in Travel Zone 5, which puts it solidly into ‘London suburbia’ territory. However, there has been some call to make parts of Croydon into Zone 4, though this isn’t likely to happen.
Question is Is Croydon a safe place to live?
What is the crime rate in Croydon?
The overall crime rate in Croydon in 2021 was 82 crimes per 1,000 people. This is actually 5% lower than London’s overall average crime rate of 87 per 1,000 residents.
Pros:
Pretty phenomenal transport links, no matter how or where you wish to travel - easy access to Central London within 18 minutes;
a choice of parks and green spaces;
multiple shopping options, with big names like Sainsbury's, Curry's PC World and IKEA just minutes away.
Great for young population that like to enjoy the night.
Cons:
Traffic on the roads at peak hours can be terrible;
some antisocial behaviour in terms of littering and graffiti within the area in few areas.
house and rental prices are very high, as they are throughout London;
public schools have deteriorated within the last decade, though equally some of the very best private schools are also on your doorstep.
Verdict:
I live in Croydon and I love this place.
