Undiscovered Gem in Lagos Nigeria 🇳🇬 You Must See
Koko Beach Hotel a Resort Lagos Nigeria 🇳🇬
Why spend scarce dollar on Santorini or the Maldives when I can experience the same, if not better, vibes right here in Lagos? Contributing to the local economy and strengthening the naira simultaneously. Situated on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, Lagos, a safe state in Nigeria, offers everything for a perfect vacation – from city vibes to cultural immersion, and exquisite 5-star Koko Beach Resort.
Last weekend, while seeking a break from city life, I rode to Ikoyi jetty and took a 15-minute speed boat ride to Koko Beach. It was my first visit, so I had my cameras ready to capture the beauty. Upon arrival, I was stunned; Lagos is undoubtedly beautiful, but I never imagined finding a paradise within paradise.
Koko Beach in Lagos provides a unique blend of luxury, relaxation, and adventure, boasting various activities, stunning views, and world-class facilities. Its beauty lies not only in its natural surroundings but also in its accessibility and convenience. Situated close to Snake Island, the resort’s long coastline stretches from Badagry Creek lagoon to the Atlantic Ocean. Visitors can reach the property by helicopter or boat, with a convenient 30-minute shuttle service available from designated docks in Lekki, Ikoyi, or Victoria Island in Lagos State.
Whether you seek a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a corporate retreat, this beach is the perfect destination for you.

HELLO FROM LAGOS, NIGERIA -- COUNTRY #175!! 🇳🇬 I truly had a lot of fun making this video inside Africa's craziest and most populated city. Did you know that over 20 million people are living in Lagos?! It is hands down one of the most hectic, chaotic, and vibrant places I've ever been with a LOT of stories to tell. I'm overwhelmed.
My local friend and YouTuber named Tayo (his channel linked below) has been taking me all around his bustling city of Lagos and we've had an absolute blast together. Surprisingly, this was one of the hardest videos I've ever made because it's REALLY challenging to shoot content on these streets. People don't like being on camera here and they make a huge commotion in the streets and ask for money (etc) whenever they see it from a distance.
In any regard, I hope you enjoy this episode of my $10 series and get a glimpse into local Nigerian culture. More to come tomorrow! Nigeria is awesome!
