Despite our attempt at keeping our Morocco Travel Documentary as authentic as possible, you are still watching a highlight reel. When editing, we naturally tend to choose the most exciting videos. What you don’t see are the hours spent driving through less spectacular landscapes or some of the unpleasant challenges we faced.
Did we like everything about Morocco?
Far from it. As mentioned in the video, the huge amount of trash definitely dampened our experience. Additionally, we were surprised by the sheer number of begging children. During our trip, we counted a minimum of 500 children asking us for money or sweets. While Morocco undoubtedly has to combat poverty, this behavior often seemed less dictated by need and more by opportunity. Stopping and giving is an individual choice, of course, but when we didn’t we were regularly flipped off, kicked after, or hurled insults at.
In general, though, we perceived most Moroccans as extremely friendly and helpful. The best example is the three local men who selflessly helped us to change our ruptured tire. We cannot thank them enough.

This trip was entirely self-funded. However, we did enjoy a two-night complimentary stay at La Sultana Oualidia and a two-night complimentary stay at La Sultana Marrakech.

Welcome back to another video everyone, today we find ourselves in Western Sahara or Moroccan Sahara as some may call it. Western Sahara is a region thats been in contention between 2 forces, the moroccan forces, and the polisario (or the native saharan people's liberation army) This territory is classified as a UN conflict zone, one of 30+ conflicts recognized by the UN today.
The region hasn't experienced any fighting since a cease fire which took place over 40 years ago. The purpose of this video was to explore Laayoune, the capital city in the Western Sahara territory. I never thought I would experience such a place, and I got to do so with a friend of mine I randomly met while exploring Morocco.
Everyone in this region was extremely hospitable, kind, and caring- the saharans, and moroccans alike. This is one of multiple videos I'll release regarding my experience here in Western Sahara.

你知道神秘的突尼斯嗎？不僅擁有地中海的碧波蕩漾，還擁有熾熱黃沙的撒哈拉。
突尼斯是世界第二大海水浴療法的國家，其中當屬歐洲遊客的後花園傑爾巴島最為出名。
在傑爾巴島最有意思的就是去當一次海盜，遊客可以乘坐海盜船出海，體驗各種海盜儀式，與海盜們一起跳舞唱歌。
除了沙灘和海盜，傑爾巴島上還有一座塗鴉小村莊（Erriadh）。 2014年來自世界各地的藝術家們為小村莊奉獻了100多幅塗鴉作品，使得原本只有藍與白的小鎮，一下子成為獨具魅力的藝術村莊。
藍與白或許是最浪漫的色彩搭配，地中海沿岸有著許多著名的藍白小鎮，距離首都（突尼斯市）20公里，座落在地中海懸崖上的，藍白小鎮薩迪布薩義德就是其中之一。這座小鎮被譽為最佳求婚地，也曾被評為世界上十大浪漫小鎮，同時也是全球十大世外桃源之一。
突尼斯的首都與國家同名，被稱為“地中海玫瑰”。常言道“人到突尼斯，必至迦太基”，首都附近的迦太基古城甚至比古羅馬城的年齡還要大，但如今卻也只剩下斷壁殘垣了。
在突尼斯體驗古老並不難，可以乘坐1910年的紅蜥蜴列車，從城市向南方的撒哈拉沙漠進發。
中國人對撒哈拉的了解，都要歸功於為愛情四處漂泊的三毛。儘管三毛是在西撒哈拉，但她卻讓整個撒哈拉都變身成了一望無際的浪漫。
在突尼斯的撒哈拉沙漠中深藏著1977年版《星球大戰》的拍攝地，很多星球大戰的粉絲會乘坐沙漠越野車，來這裡回味電影中的一個個細節，然後衝下沙丘，盡情感受撒哈拉的柔美和曠野。
沙漠深處還有一個火星帳篷酒店，據說是老闆的女兒為酒店取的名字，喜歡探險的老闆曾參加過巴黎達喀爾拉力賽，因此，這火星酒店也成為喜歡探險的遊客們的沙漠營地。
在沙漠中當地人可以迅速製作出類似新疆的烤馕，也許只有在這樣的環境下才能吃的下去吧。

About Laayoune: Laayoune or El Aaiún is the largest city of the disputed territory of Western Sahara and de facto administered by Morocco. The modern city is thought to have been founded by the Spanish colonizer Antonio de Oro in 1938. In 1940, Spain designated it as the capital of the Spanish Sahara. Laâyoune (El Aaiún) is the capital of the Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra region administered by Morocco under the supervision of the UN peace-keeping mission in Western Sahara (MINURSO). The town is divided in two by the dry river of Saguia el-Hamra. On the south side is the old lower town, constructed by Spanish colonists. A cathedral from that era is still active; its priests serve this city and Dakhla further south.
