Inside Mexico’s Craziest Market - WE WERE SHOCKED! (our first time in Mexico City) | CDMX, Mexico
We’ve made it to Mexico City! In this video, we are experiencing the market culture in Mexico City (CDMX). We started at, La Merced Market, which is one of the largest and most vibrant markets in Mexico City (CDMX). La Merced can be a bit overwhelming at first, with its labyrinthine streets and endless rows of stalls and vendors. But it's all part of the experience, and we quickly got swept up in the excitement and energy of the place. The market is a true feast for the senses, with the smells, sounds, and colors of Mexico all around you.
We then visited Mercado Sonora, which is a vibrant and bustling market located right next to La Merced. You can find a wide variety of products, from traditional Mexican crafts and souvenirs to exotic herbs, spices, and potions used in traditional folk medicine.
After visiting Mercado Sonora, we continued our exploration of Mexico City by checking out some local establishments. We stopped at a pulqueria, which is a traditional Mexican bar that specializes in pulque, a fermented beverage made from the sap of the agave plant. Next, we visited a cantina, which is another type of traditional Mexican bar. Finally, we took a leisurely stroll around the old town of Mexico City, soaking up the rich history and vibrant culture of the area.

Taste of Mexico City: The Ultimate Guide to the Best Restaurants and Street Food Spots - 2023
Discover the Ultimate Food Guide to Mexico City in 2023 with our two-week food adventure! As one of the world's biggest cities with close to 22 million people, it's no surprise that Mexico City is considered one of the food capitals of the world. Our video takes you on a culinary journey to some of the best restaurants, taquerias, and street food stands in Mexico City, including hidden gems that you won't find in other YouTube videos.
If you're a taco lover, you'll find nothing but the best in Mexico City, particularly the world-renowned Tacos al Pastor. In the video, we showcase some of the top places specializing in this delicacy, with our favorite being El Vilsito, a taqueria that turns into an auto body shop by day.
Our list of the top five taquerias and street food stands in Mexico City includes El Pescadito, Jenni's Street Quesadillas, Los Cocuyos, Taqueria El Torito, and La Esquina Del Chilaquil. For sit-down meals, we highly recommend Nico's, Contramar, Choza, Rosetta, and Lardo. These restaurants offer great food, perfect ambiance, and are even baby-friendly, as we experienced during our trip.
Besides food, our video takes you on a tour of Xochimilco to ride the trajineras and explore the ancient canals with some friends. If you're looking for a place to stay, Condesa or Roma Norte is the perfect place for you, filled with tree-lined streets and a wide variety of food stalls, coffee shops, and restaurants.
Follow our Instagram page for more information on food destinations worldwide, including our highlight stories from Mexico City, featuring tags of all the places we visited. Don't forget to like and subscribe for more travel food guides.

La Alameda Central en Ciudad de Mexico | El Primer Parque de América
Alameda Central - Ciudad de Mexico
#CiudadDeMexico #Viajes #Turismo

????????Are you planning a Mexico Trip in 2018? The PALACIO DE BELLAS ARTES and ALAMEDA PARK are two of the most popular things to do in Mexico City.
Palacio de Bellas Artes is an impressive and grand building close to the Zocalo in CDMX, home to plays, theater, opera, ballet and art. Costing just $65MXN to enter, you can check out the impressive art deco interior and art work/murals by Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo, David Siqueiros. The art deco interior is amazing if you like that sort of thing!
Alameda Park is another one of Mexico City's impressive parks, originally inspiration for the huge Chapultepec Park. It is also a former Aztec marketplace! So take some time out during a hectic Mexico City trip to visit these two areas, you will be impressed!
