El Hemiciclo a Juárez es un cenotafio de la Ciudad de México, ubicado en la Alameda Central del Centro Histórico, sobre la Avenida Juárez, una de las más importantes arterias de la capital de México. Honra al expresidente mexicano Benito Juárez, cuyos restos reposan en el Panteón de San Fernando.
Fue construido en 1910 por órdenes de Porfirio Díaz. Es obra del arquitecto Guillermo de Heredia, y las esculturas del italiano Alessandro Lazzerini.[1] Está edificado con mármol de Carrara. En su sitio se encontraba el kiosco morisco que fue trasladado al barrio de Santa María la Ribera de la Ciudad de México.[2]
Fue inaugurado el 18 de septiembre de 1910, como parte de los festejos del centenario de la independencia de México, en una ceremonia encabezada por Porfirio Díaz, y la presencia de los embajadores de Estados Unidos, España, Argentina y Guatemala. El poeta Luis G. Urbina declamó un poema para la ocasión.

Es el primer parque de América, y con esa majestuosidad que le imprime la historia ha sido renovado para otorgar a sus visitantes un espacio de relajación y tranquilidad. Cuenta con bancas, árboles centenarios, adoquinado nuevo, esculturas y fuentes que lucen repletas de niños que quieren jugar con el agua los fines de semana; comparte espacio con el emblemático Palacio de Bellas Artes.
El espacio ha sido utilizado para representaciones, eventos culturales, caravanas y mucho más. Muchos turistas acuden exclusivamente para contemplar las esculturas restauradas: Las Américas, las Danaides, Neptuno, las Ninfas 1 y 2, Mercurio, la Primavera y Venus.
