We drove from Hoedspruit to Jhb on day1 then on day2 we drove from Jhb to Kuruman and day 3 we drove to the Twee Revieren Gate.

Riding to Bray & Kuruman. Making my way towards the Kalahari Desert - Hardest ride so far!
I left Wondergat to make my way to Bray. My phone was stolen off my bike in Mahikeng and then endured one of the hardest rides I have done so far. I left Bray the next morning and made my way past Toska and rode down to Kuruman. Officially entered the Northern Cape.

Kuruman - CBD drive - Northern Cape, South Africa
So I decided to take a long drive to the Northern Cape. The Northern Cape is South Africa largest province in size, but also its smallest in terms of population. I visited Kuruman, a small mining town with a population of just over 13 000 people. Agriculture, cattle farming, is also pretty big around Kuruman. I drove around the CBD of the town which is pretty busy place as you'll see.
Kuruman to Upington - Drive - Northern Cape, South Africa
After visting Kuruman, I decided to take a trip to Upington. I will upload one of the Upington videos next week. This was a pretty straight drive on the N14 to Upington from Kuruman. I just liked the scenery and vegetation, looks very dry and arid.

Red Sands Country Lodge accommodation is featured in this short video narrated in Afrikaans. Reds Sands is situated 15km from the town of Kuruman, in the Northern Cape province of South Africa.
2010 Kgalagadi & Lesotho - Part 1 Kgalagadi
This is a two part series that takes us through Kgalagadi and Lesotho. In this the first part we travel from Pretoria to Kuruman and camp at Red Sands Camping. From Kuruman we travel through Kathu where the Sishen Iron ore mine is located. We stop for supplies in Uppington before we head to Two Rivers Border post and Two Rivers Campsite. From there we travel to up the Auobriver bed to Achterlonie and then on to Dikbaardskolk and finally stop at Polentswa Pan. We travel back down the Nossob river bed stopping at Nossob camp site to Rooiputs campsite. Rooiputs is well known for its lions and we were able to watch them at the watering hole. During our trip we were able to see Springbok, Gemsbok, Ostriches, Lion, Leopard and many other Kalahari animals..
