Today, I'm going to take you on a mouthwatering journey as we explore the top 10 must-eat dishes in this incredible city. From tantalizing street food to delectable local delicacies, get ready to satisfy your taste buds like never before.

Number 10 on our list is Som Tam, which is a spicy green papaya salad. Bursting with flavors, this dish combines the perfect balance of sweet, sour, and spicy. The freshness of the green papaya paired with the aromatic flavors of chili, fish sauce, lime, and garlic make Som Tam a popular choice among locals and tourists alike.

Moving on to number 9, we have Tom Yum Goong, a flavorful and aromatic shrimp soup.

This tangy and spicy broth is filled with a plethora of ingredients such as lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, galangal, and of course, succulent shrimp. Every spoonful of this soup is a burst of flavors that will leave you craving for more. At number 8, I present to you Pad Krapow Moo Saap, which is a stir-fried minced pork dish with basil.

This simple yet delicious street food staple is a perfect example of Thai comfort food. The combination of fragrant basil leaves, garlic, chili, and crispy pork is a harmonious symphony of flavors that will leave you wanting seconds. Moving up the ranks, we arrive at number 7 with Khao Pad, which is Thai fried rice.

This dish is a testament to Thai culinary versatility, as it can be customized with your choice of protein, be it chicken, shrimp, or vegetables. The fluffy grains of rice are stir-fried with garlic, onions, soy sauce, and a touch of fish sauce, creating a burst of flavors in every bite.

Number 6 brings us to Gai Yang, which is Thai-style grilled chicken. Marinated with a mixture of herbs and spices, this succulent chicken is then grilled to perfection. Served with sticky rice and a side of tangy chili sauce, Gai Yang is a satisfying meal that showcases the unique flavors of Thai cuisine.

Now let's move on to number 5, which is Pad Thai.

Widely regarded as Thailand's national dish, Pad Thai is a stir-fried noodle dish that combines the perfect balance of sweet, sour, and savory flavors. The combination of rice noodles, shrimp, tofu, bean sprouts, and peanuts creates a symphony of textures that will leave you craving for more. At number 4, we have Massaman Curry, a rich and aromatic curry that embodies the essence of Thai cuisine.

This curry is a fusion of Thai and Indian flavors, with influences from Persia. The tender chunks of meat, usually beef or chicken, are simmered in a luscious coconut milk-based sauce, infused with fragrant spices such as cardamom, cinnamon, and star anise. The result is a curry that is creamy, fragrant, and bursting with flavors.

We're heading towards the top 3, and at number 3, we have Moo Ping, which are grilled pork skewers. Marinated in a mixture of soy sauce, fish sauce, and other spices, these skewers are then grilled over an open flame. The result is succulent and flavorful grilled pork that is often enjoyed as a quick snack or as part of a larger meal.

Number 2 takes us to the iconic dish of Gaeng Keow Wan Gai, also known as Thai Green Curry. This curry is vibrant and spicy, thanks to the combination of green chilies, Thai basil, and aromatic spices. The tender chicken pieces are simmered in a creamy coconut milk-based sauce, creating a curry that is rich, fragrant, and utterly delicious.

And finally, at number 1, we have the legendary dish of Phat Kaphrao.

Also known as Thai Basil Stir-Fry, this dish is bursting with aromatic flavors and textures. Whether it's chicken, pork, or seafood, the juicy meat is stir-fried with garlic, chili, and holy basil leaves, creating a mouthwatering dish that will leave you coming back for more.
