I have heard about this unique Polish city on the White river for sometime - a beautiful city nestled near the Czechia and Slovakian borders where the famous Vienna-Lvov road one traveled. Once this was an area of two separate cities Bielsko and Biala. In the 1950s, they became one.
Join me on this walking tour and travel vlog as we get thrown into city streets and homes that are right out of Vienna, Prague, and Budapest. With amazing Art Nouveau designs on what feels like every street corner, this area is a wonderful place to explore even when the temperatures are approaching forty.

We visit the stunning cities of Szklarska Poręba, Karpacz, Jelenia Gora, Bielsko Biala and some of Poland's mountain towns along the Czech border. We made these visits based on our viewer recommendations. Over our 57 days in Poland, we met with expats living in Poland, shared our costs, expenses, and impressions of Poland's livability and quality of life, as well as looked at real estate and we visited with immigration experts. Krakow, Gdansk, Warsaw, and many other cities in Poland have many foreigners calling the country home. Poland offers a reasonable cost of living and great quality of life. The average US Retiree on Social Security receives $1,550 a month, and a couple on Social Security receives over $2,500 a month. A US Expat living on Social Security if allowed could expect a lower cost of living in Poland when compared to the living costs in the US.

We have arrived at the beautiful city of Bielsko-Biala. Once two cities, that became one in the 1950s, this jewel along the White river is nestled near the Czechia and Slovakian borders where the famous Vienna-Lvov road once travled. Join me on part two of this walking tour and travel vlog as we continue to explore this city that seems to be right out of Vienna, Prague, and Budapest. With amazing Art Nouveau designs on what feels like every street corner, this area is a wonderful place to explore even when the temperatures are approaching forty. While we will see some of these homes on this walk, the majority of this tourist adventure will be spent walking to an old Jewish cemetery and then back across town to get to a beautiful park along the White river.

Just wild animals walked there before: beautiful route in Żywiec Landscape Park, Poland
Relaxing sunny walk among pure nature beauty near Żabnica village in Silesian Voivodeship, Poland. I follow a trail where only animal tracks are visible: foxes, wild boars, deer. The path lies across several mountain streams, allowing to enjoy the many waterfalls in addition to the incredible scenery of the mountainous terrain.

W woj. świętokrzyskim jest mnóstwo ciekawych atrakcji, za każdym razem jak tam jedziemy to odwiedzamy kolejne fascynujące miejsca 🥰
1️⃣ Kopalnia Krzemionki. W epoce kamienia 4-5 tyś. lat temu wydobywano tutaj na masową skalę krzemień, który służył do produkcji siekier. W ramach zwiedzania wchodzi się do prastarej kopalni. Jest to jedno z 17 miejsc na liście UNESCO w Polsce. 2️⃣ Niegdyś Opatów był ważnym miastem na skrzyżowaniu szlaków handlowych. Był opasane murami obronnymi, więc kupcy kopali w lessie kolejne poziomy piwnic. 3️⃣ Ruiny zamku w Chęcinach - wyróżniające się ruiny zamku na wzgórzu. Był to kiedyś jeden z najważniejszych zamków w Polsce, obecnie ruiny stanowią świetny punkt widokowy. 4️⃣ „W Pacanowie kozy kują” - miasteczko stało się znane dzięki oczywiście Koziołkowi Matołkowi. W całej miejscowości można znaleźć motywy z bajki, znajduje się tam też Europejskie Centrum Bajki. 5️⃣ Sandomierz jest jednym z najstarszych i najważniejszych historycznie miast w Polsce. Wspaniałe miasto na co najmniej dzień albo weekend. 6️⃣ Święty Krzyż - znajduje się tam opactwo z relikwiami drzewa krzyża świętego. Łysa Góra stanowiła we wczesnym średniowieczu ośrodek kultu Słowian. Na górze znajdują się też słynne gołoborza. 7️⃣ Skansen w Tokarni - wspaniałe Muzeum Wsi Kieleckiej, świetne miejsce na krótszy albo dłuższy spacer. 8️⃣ Pałac w Kurozwękach został odzyskany przez byłych właścicieli i dużym wysiłkiem odbudowany. Obok jest też hodowla bizonów. 9️⃣ Łysica jest najniższym szczytem do zdobycia z Korony Gór Polski, na szczycie również znajdują się gołoborza 🔟 Ruiny zamku Krzyżtopór - wspaniałe, imponujące ruiny potężnego pałacu, które robią niezwykłe wrażenie na odwiedzających. Jest 5 tras zwiedzania zamku.
