Exploring Slovenia | Prekmurje, Piran & Portorož in 4K #slovenia #travel #europe

This video captures my unforgettable trip to Slovenia back in 2019 — and I finally finished editing it! Most of the footage was filmed in the beautiful region of Prekmurje, with a few final clips from the stunning coastal towns of Piran and Portorož.

Shot using a DJI Mavic Air and DJI Osmo Pocket, all in 4K. This was my very first time editing a full 4K video in Adobe Premiere Pro, and while I noticed a bit of stuttering after export, I’m still super happy with how it turned out!

Day trip to Prekmurje / Enodnevni izlet v Prekmurje * DTTV

Through the centuries, the Mura river has played with nature and has created a natural island, which the locals called the ISLAND OF LOVE. The island offers visitor a boat trip connecting the left and right banks of the Mura, a view of the museum and a floating mill. We can also enjoy the drinks and food offered by the inn on the island.

The Vinarium Lendava viewing tower, built on a hill, is 53.50 meters high. To the top of the tower leads 240 steps or elevator and at once can be 50 visitors. At the top there is a glazed viewing area from which you can see the landscape of the four countries: Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia and Austria.

Walking Tour: Murska Sobota, Slovenia - 4K UHD Virtual Travel

Murska Sobota is a quiet and lovely little town located in the Prekmurje region of Slovenia. Prekmurje is named after the Mur river (Mura, Muir), which separates this region from the rest of Slovenia. The name Prekmurje literally means area beyond the Mur river. The region is quite small and located between Austria, Hungary and Croatia so you can reach all three of the neighboring countries from Murska Sobota in less then half an hour. It is also a region of long and turbulent history but today it is a nice quiet corner of Europe, filled with lovely pastoral spots, small towns and of course spas - such as Moravske Toplice. A region well worth exploring! :)

VLOG #SLO26 A Part Of Prekmurje

Visiting region of Prekmurje, staying in a house our friend is renovating in the old fashioned manner-keeping it the way it was ;) Next stop was St. Ana Church in Boreca, and then to a small tourist centre Vulkanija, where you get a taste of how Prekumrje was shaped by Volcanoes long-long time ago. All that was toped by a dinner in Restaurant Kodila, where they serve everything eaten and grown in this fantastic part of Slovenia. Enjoy!

Slovely.eu è andato alla scoperta del Pomurje partendo dal suo capoluogo, Murska Sobota. Accompagnati da Monika Bači Kleiderman abbiamo assaporato le bontà del Prekmurje e visitato la città, dal teatro, alla piscina, al parco e infine al Pomurski Muzej. Dopo una buona birra al bar Bunker post-apocalittico, abbiamo mangiato splendidamente al prosciuttificio gourmet Kodila, ci siamo deliziati con la cioccolata di Passero e fatto un giro in carrozza al Grad Rakičan. Abbiamo concluso la giornata a Expano, il padiglione di Expo Milano rimontato nel Prekmurje!

The Mura Statistical Region is a statistical region in the north-east of Slovenia. It is predominantly agricultural with field crops representing over three quarters of the total utilised agricultural area, twice as much as the Slovene average. Climate and soil combined have made it the region with the highest crop production, but its geographical position and inferior infrastructure put it at a disadvantage and it is the region of Slovenia with the lowest GDP per capita (EUR 8,500) and the highest rate of registered unemployment. The region comprises the following municipalities: Apače, Beltinci, Cankova, Črenšovci, Dobrovnik, Gornja Radgona, Gornji Petrovci, Grad, Hodoš, Kobilje, Križevci, Kuzma, Lendava, Ljutomer, Moravske Toplice, Murska Sobota, Odranci, Puconci, Radenci, Razkrižje, Rogašovci, Sveti Jurij ob Ščavnici, Šalovci, Tišina, Turnišče, Velika Polana and Veržej. The population in 2004 was 122,717. Employment structure: 41.2% services, 44.8% industry, 14.0% agriculture. It attracts 7.8% of the total number of tourists in Slovenia, most being from Slovenia (52%). Length of motorways: 14 km Length of other roads: 1451 km.

Lendava, ungarisch Lendva, deutsch Unterlimbach,ist die östlichste Gemeinde Sloweniens, in der Region Prekmurje. Die Gemeinde grenzt im Osten an Ungarn und im Süden an Kroatien. Sie gehört großteils zum slowenisch-ungarisch ethnisch gemischten Gebiet Sloweniens.
Die Burg Lendava, genauer gesagt die Burg Dolnjelandavski, liegt oberhalb des Zentrums der Stadt Lendava am Fuße des Lendava-Gebirges auf einer Höhe von 266 m. Es erhebt sich über die Dächer der Häuser und verleiht der Stadt ein typisches Bild. Sie wurde bereits im 12. Jahrhundert erstmals erwähnt.
Die ersten Besitzer der Festung, dem Vorgängerbau der heutigen Burg, waren im letzten Viertel des 12. und im 13. Jahrhundert Mitglieder der Familie Hahót-Buzàd. Den bisher bekannten Daten zufolge existierte in Doljna Lendava im 13. Jahrhundert definitiv eine Festung.

The best way to explore Prekmurje is by bike, pedalling with the wind in your hair, enjoying the smell of mown grass, the wavy wheat fields, the hum of farm machinery, the clattering of the storks and the murmur of the water. We invited three influential bloggers to this cycling experience, Sandra (@sandra_suc), Anna (@anna_spielmann) and Dino (@dinolanzaretti). They have seen many parts of the world from their bike, but not yet Prekmurje.

- Camper stop Bukovnisko lake is new modern camper stop with 14 parking places for campers nad caravans. It offers connection to electricity, water and possibility to empty grey waters. Campers have as well sanitary facilities available, including showers and automatic cleaning machine for chemical toilet. A children's playground is arranged as well.

Camper stop is located 300 meters from the Bukovnisko lake. It is accumulated lake surrounded with woods and many arranged cycling and hiking paths.

Just next to the camper stop you will find Adventure park Bukovnisko lake with 58 various elements, suitable for adults and children more than 4 years old. Close by is a church of St. Vid as well as Vid's spring with healing water. In that are they arranged 26 energy points that have soothing influence on humans body and revitalization of energies.

Zadnji del iz mojega potepanja po Prekmurju in Goričkem kjer sem obiskal prvič te prelepe kraje.Vsekakor,sem jih veliko izpustil in bo potrebno sevede še it pogledat tudi tiste ki so veliko manj znani in sem jih odkril sedaj naključno pri montaži teh petih filmov.
Ob enem pa vem,da ni vsem vse všeč,pa tudi vsem nikoli ne bo,moja montaža in oblikovanje videov.Res je,da ne govorim pravilne slovnične Slovenščine,pa to za to,ker tak sem in v videih,se ne delam drugačnega kot sem...
Življenje naj bo svobodno,preprosto in ne razmišlajte,kaj drugi mislijo o vas,ker nihče ni popoln in vas to ne zanima...

The last part from my wanderings in Prekmurje and Goričko, where I visited these beautiful places for the first time. Of course, I missed many of them, and of course it will be necessary to go see those that are much less known and I discovered them now by chance while editing these five films.
At the same time, I know that not everyone likes everything, nor will everyone ever, my video editing and design. It's true that I don't speak grammatically correct Slovenian, but that's because that's who I am and in the videos, I don't pretend to be different like me...
