Kingman Army Airfield WW2 Aircraft Boneyard Arizona USA
I saw a picture of a desert valley covered in thousands of WW2 bombers. It turns out that the airplanes were being salvaged for the scrap aluminum. America was building a new air force with technologies learned during the war.
This valley hosts the Kingman Army Air Base, a WW2 gunnery training school. After the war the base was the site of a massive airplane salvage operation. 5483 airplanes were chopped up and melted down to pure ingots. From 1945 to 1948 this site was covered in airplanes. Today it is deserted.
This channel spends most of it's time covering aircraft that I find in my travels. I am particularily interested in the stories and pictures of an individual aircraft and it's post military history. This channel is working to provide a current video look-see of real airplanes. It is a special moment when we meet museum staff that allows us addition behind the scenes access to these vintage aircraft. It is the hugest fun ever to do this kind of work and it would seem that many people are interested in my amatuer enthusiasm. I do not preport to be an expert in anything but please come along for the ride and see what we get up to. Recently we rode dirtbikes out to the XB-70 crash site memorial and ain Atwater we got inside a SAC USAF B-36 bomber. That's our highlight so far. Please hit SUBSCRIBE to help us along.

Historic Route 66 - Kingman Arizona
We visited Kingman, Arizona (AZ) which is located on the historic Route 66, one of America's greatest roadways. We walked through Locomotive Park, saw the Veteran's Memorial, the Powerhouse Tourist Center, Route 66 Museum, saw all the cool murals throughout downtown, and had some great beer and food at Rickety Cricket.

🟥 According To Briggs
If you enjoy these videos I would love to hear about it. We look at the best and worst cities, states, towns, and neighborhoods in the United States. Occasionally we do other countries. Most of the time focus on the negative side of locations. That is just what people want to see.
If you only want some happy positive information about a city, town, or state, I would suggest looking up local mortgage and real estate companies or maybe the locations website. They are trying to sell you something so it will be nothing but sunshine, rainbows, and a bunch of smoke up your skirt. They won't tell you about crime, poverty, or insurance you'll need because of natural disasters. I will.
