This is a driver view of a Viking Setra narrated tour bus ride through the town of Karlstadt am Main at the beginning our ride ultimately to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. I have already posted the ride as a whole I believe but am now posting individual segments for those potentially interested in various roads, cities or parts of the countryside. As both the entire ride and individual segments show, our tour guide took a lot of back roads which probably don't get traveled much and most certainly are probably not on YouTube yet. You get to see lots of secondary German roads and small villages in this series of videos. We are on B19 highway for most of this ride but not at the very beginning. There is also a train in this video. This town was also named for Charlemagne and traces its roots back to 928. This part of Bavaria is considered Franconia by residents.
