10. Preah Vihear
Preah Vihear is a Khmer temple situated atop a 525 meter (1,722 ft) cliff in the Dângrêk Mountains, on the border between Cambodia and Thailand. It has the most spectacular setting of all the Khmer temples. Most of the temple was constructed in the 11th and 12th century during the reigns of the Khmer kings Suryavarman I and Suryavarman II.
9. Sihanoukville
Sihanoukville, also known as Kampong Som, is a port city and beach resort on the Gulf of Thailand. The big attraction here are the white-sand beaches and several undeveloped tropical islands. Sihanoukville is a good place to relax and unwind, though be prepared to battle the crows during the high season or a holiday weekend.
8. Tonle Sap
Tonlé Sap is the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia and is of major importance to Cambodia. The lake expands and shrinks dramatically with the seasons. From November to May, Cambodia’s dry season, the Tonlé Sap drains into the Mekong River at Phnom Penh.
7. Silver Pagoda
Located within the Royal Palace compound in Phnom Penh, the Silver Pagoda houses many national treasures such as gold and jeweled Buddha statues. Most notable is a small 17th century baccarat crystal Buddha (the Emerald Buddha of Cambodia) and a life-sized gold Maitreya Buddha decorated with 9584 diamonds.
6. Bokor Hill Station
Bokor Hill Station near Kampot was built by the French in the 1920s to be used as a retreat from the heat of Phnom Penh. It has since been abandoned twice, first in the 1940s when the Japanese invaded Cambodia and again in the 1970s, when the Khmer Rouge engulfed the country.
5. Kratie
Kratie is a small town located on the banks of the Mekong River and is dominated by a central marketplace surrounded by old, French colonial buildings. There’s no large scale tourism, but plenty of backpackers pour through here during the peak season.
4. Koh Ker
Koh Ker was the capital of the Khmer empire for a very brief period from the year 928 to 944 AD. In this short time some very spectacular buildings and immense sculptures were constructed. The site is dominated by Prasat Thom, a 30 meter (98 ft) tall temple pyramid rising high above the surrounding jungle.
3. Banteay Srei
Although officially part of the Angkor complex, Banteay Srei lies 25 km (15 miles) north-east of the main group of temples, and therefore often considered a separate Cambodia attraction. The temple was completed in 967 AD and is built largely of red sandstone, a medium that lends itself to the elaborate decorative wall carvings which are still clearly visible today.
2. Bayon Temple
Part of the world famous destination of Angkor, the Bayon temple features a sea of over 200 massive stone faces looking in all direction. The curious smiling faces, thought by many to be a portrait of king Jayavarman VII himself or a combination of him and Buddha, are an instantly recognizable image of Angkor.

Trip to Kampong Thom Province | Cambodia Travel Guide
One of my old trip with the Khmer Tourist Family to Kampong Thom Province. We started from our breakfast in Phnom Penh, travel on National Highway 6 to Skun in Kampong Cham, having lunch at Sea Meas Restaurant. Then we continue Santuk District in Kampong Thom Province. We want to find an old wooden water well but it's flooded. We moved back but it's already dark. We had dinner at Khmer Food Restaurant. it was raining hard, we traveled back to Phnom Penh after dinner. it's an amazing trip. It brought me lots of souvenir and fun.
I'm using Canon G7X Mark II & DJI Phantom 3 Standard Camera for this video.

Just 91Km ride from Phnom Penh, Kampong Chhnang province sets location at the heart of Cambodia, in the area of Tonle Sap Lake. Lunch at Sokimex Restaurant at Stong District in Kampong Thom Province
We just left a beautiful mountain pond at Cheung Chnok Village in Kampong Cham Province. We're on National Road No.6 from Batheay District to Skun and take a break at PTT Gas station for coffee and toilet. We continued to Kampong Thom province and had lunch at Sokimex Gas station restaurant. It's a gas station with restaurant and guest house. We ordered grilled catfishes with mango dipping sauce, fish sour soup (Samlor Machoo Yuon), Fried Proma fish mixed with egg and fried mixed vegetable with white rice. Everyone enjoyed lunch and relaxed a bit before leaving to the next location.

10. Angkor Wat
Cambodia's number one drawcard is this temple town. The temples of the Angkorian era, accessed from the town of Siem Reap, are so ambitious in scale and in the beauty of their construction that Angkor Wat is rated as one of the world's ancient sites that must be seen.
9. Phnom Penh
The capital of Cambodia is the nation's frenetic heartbeat; a city of chaotic streets abuzz with motorbikes and car horns that at first glance can frazzle. Deserted entirely during the chaos of the Khmer Rouge and left to wither and die, Phnom Penh has bounced back to become one of the most vibrant cities in Southeast Asia.
8. Sihanoukville Beaches
Sihanoukville is a tale of two halves in Kompong Som Province, with a bustling yet drab central district and a vibrant beach resort in its shoreline area. The beaches here are the top destination for sand and sun holidays in Cambodia and are popular with local and overseas tourists.
Everything is here for any kind of beach-goer. Luxury hotels boast Sokha Beach and Freedom Beach.
7. Ratanakiri.
This is Outback Cambodia, and the region's endless red-dirt tracks, which lead to ethnic minority villages, are the delight of an intrepid traveler.
The province is one of the best places for trekking for those with an adventurous streak in Cambodia, from spotting gibbons at Veun Sai-Siem Pang Conservation Area, where overnight trips include sleeping in hammocks and early rising to track buff-cheeked gibbons, to hiking in Virachey National Park, home to elephants, tigers, and sun bears.
6. Prasat Preah Vihear.
Angkor Wat temples may deserve all the glory, but for the most dramatic venue, Prasat Preah Vihear wins the award. Sitting atop the Dangrek Mountains, Prasat Preah Vihear is a colossal temple complex of intricately carved pavilions connected by long causeways, originally constructed to honor the god Shiva, on an escarpment with dizzying views across the Cambodian floodplains.

Some of the most peaceful rural scenery in Cambodia is in the countryside of rice fields and tiny villages surrounding the northwestern town of Battambang, and the region is also home to swags of historic riches. All of this has made the town itself a popular destination for travelers.
4. Koh Rong Samloem
A scattering of islands just as stunning as their Thai counterparts to the west lie just off Cambodia's south coast, but far less visited. Pre-test in Kampong Thom
On this vlog we had our field pre-test of the questionnaire somewhere in a village of Kampong Thom province in Cambodia to 10 farmer respondent. I also manage to fly my drone here with the consent of the village head. It was my 4th out of the country drone flight. It was a nice experience.
