Welcome Mažeikiai district, Lithuania, one of the furthest places to go to from Vilnius. It's worth getting there, as the district has plenty of interesting sights to see: the only in Lithuania Gramophone museum, authentic XIX century pharmacy - museum, the home of the pioneer of Lithuanian aviation, the beautiful Renavas manor house and much more!
Mažeikiai district really impressed me, even though it was so far to drive to. It took me 2 days to see all the sights and I think it would be a great addition to a trip through Samogitia, combined with the nearby Akmenė district or Samogitia capital Telšiai.

It's time for Šakiai - finally the other side of the wonderful Panemuniai road trip. Somehow I managed to drive many times through Jurbarkas side, but this was my first time dedicating a trip to Šakiai side of Panemuniai Regional Park and it did not disappoint. Tall Sudargas hill forts, several manor houses, river street, local winery and more can be found there. Zypliai manor house and Zanavykai museum were yet another great highlight of the trip, with an interesting restaurant too which I will definitely come back one day!

Tytuvėnai Regional Park alone is worth staying the night to enjoy its surroundings well.

Lazdijai is a beautiful natural region, with two amazing nature parks - Meteliai and Veisiejai regional parks, but its heritage offers more, from the ancient Yotvingian history at Aštrioji Kirsna manor, to more recent terrible guerilla fights history in the first years of soviet occupation. And today it is completely different, with people living happily in the area, farming, keeping horses and enjoying equestrian sports.

Top sights around Klaipėda, Lithuania
Hello everyone and welcome to Klaipėda district, the outskirts of Klaipėda city, but definitely not boring!
I visited this region many times and the footage in this video is actually from a few different trips. One of the days I was really unlucky with the weather, but that didn't stop me from filming 😁
There is so much to do in Klaipėda district - from the most popular sights like Olando kepurė (Dutchman's cap), Seaside Regional Park and Karklė, Dreverna resorts, to plenty of water activities, like kite surfing, sailing and more. The historical sights also weren't forgotten - Memel Nord bunker, Priekulė town and more.
Also special thanks to my sister, for some footage and pictures from her stay in Dreverna resort, which she really fell in love with during the summer.

Molėtai - the best lake district of Lithuania | Travel guide
Welcome to Molėtai - the amazing lake district in Lithuania. It is famous for Labanoras and Asveja regional parks, both having amazing lakes, vast forests and local sights to see. But here we can see much more than the lakes. It is home to the Astronomical observatory with the largest telescope in the northern Europe and ethno cosmology museum where we can get a close up of what humanity knows about space. 🌍✨🪐💥💫
It is quite close to Vilnius, so I was lucky to be able to come here a few times before finishing this video, as each place I visited was great and I've spent a lot of time at each of them, not wanting to leave 😁
My tip for coming here would be to choose one or 2 places in the district for one day and not to hurry 😊

Endlich mal wieder eine richtige Strecke gemacht! 119km ohne Motor – na wer sagt es denn, geht doch! Ich muss vorsichtig sein und den Tag nicht vor dem Tour-Abend loben, denn wir sind ja noch immer unter Murphys Gesetz unterwegs. Aber als hoffnungsloser Optimist habe ich das Gefühl, der Wechsel auf ein Hinterrad ohne Motor war genau das richtige. Wenn man dann auch noch realisiert, dass ich mit 30 kg weniger Gewicht unterwegs bin, dann kann man schon fast daran glauben: Ab jetzt wird alles gut! Heute war es besonders spannend, da die Strecke zum Teil direkt am Grenzfluss, der Litauen von Kaliningrad trennt, entlang führt. Ein merkwürdiges Gefühl beschleicht einen, wenn man auf die andere Seite schaut. Morgen geht es weiter mit der Umrundung der Exklave. Ich möchte es so schnell wie möglich hinter mich bringen und an die polnische Ostsee Küste gelangen 🌊. Ich denke noch zwei, bis drei Tage, dann bin ich wieder am Meer. Ich vermisse schon meine Beach Clean Ups. Das ist einfach ganz was anderes, als diese Müllklauberei vom Straßenrand.
Eine 95 Tage dauernde, 7200 km lange Fahrradtour durch 9 Länder rund um Nord- und Ostsee. Ziel ist es so viel Plastikabfall und Spenden wie möglich zu sammeln, um die gemeinnützige Organisation @oneearthoneocean zu unterstützen, die mit ihren Müllsammelschiffen die Flüsse und Ozeane vom Plastikmüll befreit. Unterwegs sind wir mit elektrifizierten Cargobikes von Velo-Lab und unterstützt werden wir von Globetrotter, Vaude, GRAVIS, Triple 2, Ilockit , Magped und One Earth One Ocean e.V.

I have to be careful and not praise the day before the tour evening, because we are still under Murphy's law on the road. But as a hopeless optimist, I feel the switch to a rear wheel without a motor was just the right thing to do. When you also realize that I'm riding with 30 kg less weight, then you can almost believe: From now on, everything will be fine! Today it was especially exciting, because the route partly runs directly along the border river that separates Lithuania from Kaliningrad. A strange feeling creeps over you when you look at the other side. Tomorrow we will continue with the circumnavigation of the exclave. I want to get it over with as quickly as possible and get to the Polish Baltic Sea coast 🌊. I think two, to three more days, then I'm back at the sea. I already miss my beach clean ups. That's just something different than this garbage picking from the roadside.
A 95 day, 7200 km bike tour through 9 countries around the North Sea and Baltic Sea.
