Pedersöre Church, also known as Pedersöre kyrka in Swedish and Pedersören kirkko in Finnish, is a medieval stone church located in Jakobstad, Finland, which is known as Pietarsaari in Finnish. It is one of the oldest medieval churches in the region of Ostrobothnia. The original site of the church dates back to the late 1200s, when a wooden church was first built. Over time, the church underwent reconstruction and was transformed from its medieval design into a cross-shaped church in the late 1700s.

Finland, officially the Republic of Finland is a Nordic country in Northern Europe. Finland covers an area of 338,455 square kilometres with a population of 5.6 million. Helsinki is the capital and largest city. The vast majority of the population are ethnic Finns. Finland's climate varies from humid continental in the south to the boreal in the north. The land cover is primarily a boreal forest biome, with more than 180,000 recorded lakes.
From the vibrant art-filled cities of Helsinki and Turku to the depths of the boreal forests and the thinly inhabited outer archipelago, Finland offers a wealth of attractions and beautiful places to visit.
It's also a relatively unknown corner of Europe, likely because it is so far from the mainstream tourist routes, but the country's many cultural and historical sites add to the unspoiled natural surroundings to make it an ideal destination.
Finland's lakes, fells, rivers, and vast wild areas, along with the certainty of snow in the winter make it a Nordic playground for both winter and summer activities.
Helsinki is the main point of entry for most visitors to Finland. The busy Baltic port is where you'll find the most important museums, as well as architecture by some of the greatest Finnish architects, and numerous things to do.
Within easy reach of Helsinki are the charming smaller cities of Turku and Porvoo. But it would be a shame to confine a trip only to the Baltic coast, when so much beautiful open countryside beckons. To the west lie the Finnish lakes, and in the north is the vast area beyond the Arctic Circle, home of the midnight sun, northern lights, and some of Europe's best winter sports.

Lilla Kallberget is an island in Finland. It is located in the Gulf of Bothnia and in the municipality of Larsmo in the economic region of the Jakobstad region in the province of Ostrobothnia, in the northwestern part of the country. The island is about 100 kilometers northeast of Vaasa and about 430 kilometers north of Helsinki.
The island's area is 3.5 hectares and its greatest length is 410 meters in the north-south direction.
Inland climate prevails in the area. The average annual temperature in the area is 3 °C. The warmest month is August, when the average temperature is 16 °C, and the coldest is January, with −10 °C.
