Holmes Chapel | Cheshire | Walk | 4K

A walk around Holmes Chapel, probably most known for the hometown of Harry Styles.
We start on London Road by the Holmes Chapel Health Centre then head past the library and shopping arcade. Around Church View, you can see them getting prepared for Remembrance Day with poppies all around St Luke’s Church!
Down Macclesfield Road, you can see a group of girls getting excited about seeing W Mandeville Bakery (where Harry Styles used to work before finding fame)

Holmes Chapel is a large village and civil parish in the unitary authority area of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England; until 1974, the parish was known as Church Hulme. It is located about 8 miles (13 km) north of Crewe and 21 miles (34 km) south of Manchester.

Holmes Chapel #1, Cheshire - by CheshireReview.com

Short video taken in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire by

Bidlea Ice Cream Farm. Dairy Fresh Ice Cream in Twemlow, Holmes Chapel, UK. Wheelchair friendly.

Our visit to Bidlea Ice Cream Farm Dairy in Twemlow, close to Holmes Chapel, Crewe.

We found this a lovely place for a pit stop in the area, or just for a reason for a trip out! The ice cream was fantastic, I understand it is homemade on the site from the dairy milk cows.

When we visited they had some calves near the car parking that you could go right up to, Hayley got to feed them a little straw.

It is both wheelchair and scooter friendly with hard surfaces and level areas everywhere, Hayley's scooter also had no problems on the grassed areas and I would not hesitate to take a wheelchair on the grass as it was hard enough.

Lots of visitors bought their dogs and the shop sold dog-friendly ice cream, we bought some to bring home and it made the 30-minute journey home in a cool bag without defrosting, needless to say, the dogs loved it!

Happy to recommend it.

Hayley & Andy

Is This the UNLUCKIEST Church in England? #shorts

Come and travel with me to Buckfastleigh on the South-East border of Dartmoor National Park, to visit the stunning ruins of Holy Trinity Church.

The area is famous for the local legend surrounding Squire Richard Cabell, the county's infamous ‘monstrously evil man’ and his hell hounds that haunt the Devonshire countryside.

Is there any truth to the frightening legend said to have inspired Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic Sherlock Holmes novel 'The Hound of the Baskervilles'? And is Cabell's curse behind the series of unlucky events that have befallen the local church ever since?

I’ll let you make up your own mind on that one…

There’s more myths and magic waiting for you over on:

Holmes Chapel to Alderley Edge | Cheshire | Drive | 4K

Driving from Holmes Chapel to Alderley Edge, starting by The Twemlow Viaduct, past Jodrell Bank through Chelford and finishing in the very influential village of Alderley Edge.

I tried a new microphone and for some reason it didn’t capture any sound so there’s a chilled hip hop soundtrack

Holmes Chapel is a large village and civil parish in the unitary authority area of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. Until 1974 the parish was known as Church Hulme. Holmes Chapel is about 8 miles (13 km) north of Crewe and 21 miles (34 km) south of Manchester.

Alderley Edge is known for its affluence and expensive houses, falling inside Cheshire's Golden Triangle. Alderley Edge has a selection of cafes and designer shops and has attracted numerous Premier League footballers, actors and multi-millionaire businesspeople. It is one of the most expensive and sought-after places to live in the UK outside London.

Day 2 London exploring Sherlock Holmes, Piccadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace, White Chapel

We walked over 10 miles today, exploring London on our own. Seeing the Sherlock Holmes museum, getting to go inside Buckingham Palace seeing the state rooms, having afternoon tea and pastries at the palace garden, Piccadilly Circus, and White Chapel to go on a Jack the Ripper tour, and ending in the 10 Bell Pub. Another wonderful day together, the weather was perfect and we love all of the goodness London has to offer.

The weather wasn’t the best but we made the best out of a bad situation and got what we needed doing done so all was well by the end of the three days! Enjoy!

Summer can be hit or miss at Holmes Chapel Falls. After a big storm it's full of water and raging; one of the South's good waterfalls. If rain hasn't fallen it's a trickle like it was when I arrived to the Northern Alabama forest.
