Beside the marina and related activities, there are two sandy beaches north and south of the harbor, the northern has infrastructure such as beach chairs. ▶ Rendsburg (from Wikipedia) Rendsburg is a town on the River Eider and the Kiel Canal in the central part of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is the capital of the Kreis (district) of Rendsburg-Eckernförde. As of 2006, it had a population of 28,476. Rendsburg's foundation date is unknown though some form of fortifications was established by Bjørn Svendsen 1099–1100. Rendsburg was first mentioned in 1199. An old form of its name was Reinoldesburch. It became a part of Holstein in the 13th century, but was transferred to Schleswig in 1460. Many times the town passed from Danish to German control and vice versa. In the German-Danish War in 1864 Rendsburg was finally seized by Kingdom of Prussia and Austria. After 1866 the town was annexed by the Kingdom of Prussia. Since that time it has remained part of Germany. Although the Eider is navigable for small craft from its mouth on the North Sea to Rendsburg, the town's importance rose in 1895, when the Kiel Canal was finished. The much larger ships that could navigate the Kiel Canal meant that, although situated inland, Rendsburg became a seaport and a dockyard. The most prominent structure in town, the Rendsburg High Bridge, a railway bridge made of steel, 2,500 metres (8,200 ft) in length and 41 metres (135 ft) in height, was constructed in 1913 to take the Neumünster–Flensburg railway over the Kiel Canal from the relatively flat land on either side. It is the longest railway bridge in Europe (highway/rail bridge Øresund Bridge is longer): on the northern side, the bridge connects to the Rendsburg Loop to gain height and to allow trains to continue to serve the Rendsburg station. Suspended from the railway bridge, a transporter bridge – one of only twenty ever built – traverses the canal. The German Army's Air Defence School and the Bundesamt für Strahlenschutz are both located in Rendsburg. Other sights include: Town hall, 16th century Marienkirche (St. Mary's Church), 1286 Kiel Canal Pedestrian Tunnel, longest pedestrian tunnel in the world The longest bench in the world (501 m), on the banks of the Kiel Canal Jewish Museum Rendsburg Museums in the Cultural Centre (Historical Museum Rendsburg / Printing Museum)

Путешествия по Европе в большинстве случаев сводятся к посещению хорошо известных и популярных мест. Северная Германия является не исключением из этого правила и пожалуй наиболее известными представителями этого региона являются крупные города такие как Гамбург и Бремен. Однако, в этой части Германии есть еще и множество других не менее, а иногда даже более красивых городов. Сейчас у нас есть возможность жить в Германии и несмотря на ограничения вызванные Covid-19 и невозможность путешествий по Европе мы стараемся проводить выходные с пользой и по возможности стараемся поехать посмотреть близлежащие города чтобы познакомится с историей и насладиться архитектурой немецких городов. Сегодня мы хотим прогуляться вместе с вами по малоизвестному, но очень приятному немецкому городу Рендсбург! Этот немецкий город который находится на середине Кильского канала когда-то принадлежат Дании, но в результате объединения земель Шлезвиг и Гольштейн вошел в состав Пруссии в середине девятнадцатого века. Этому городу с тысячелетней историей удавалось оставаться непримечательным до середины 19 века пока не произошло окончание датско-немецкой войны и город не стал полноценной частью объединенной Германии. Строительство Кильского канала, который соединил Северное и Балтийское моря, позволило задышать Рендсбургу на полную грудь, а удивительная сохранность города несмотря на бурный ХХ век позволила сохранить шарм старинного немецкого города.

Brokdorf Nuclear Power Plant is close to the municipality of Brokdorf in Steinburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It started in October 1986 by a first-of-its-kind joint venture between PreussenElektra and Hamburgische Electricitäts-Werke (HEW). During the construction phase in the 70's and 80's, there were violent protests against nuclear power at the location. Vattenfall Europe Nuclear Energy GmbH owns 20% and E.ON 80%. The plant is a pressurized water reactor with uranium dioxide fuel elements, which are used in degrees of enrichment of 1.9%, 2.5% and 3.5%. It also uses MOX fuel. There are 193 fuel assemblies In the reactor, with a total heavy-metal weight of 103 tons. The power station has a thermal output of 3765 MW, as well as an electrical output of 1440 MW. It belongs to the 3rd PWR generation in Germany. With a net generation of just under 12 billion a kWh, it was the worldwide leader in 2005. The decommissioning of the plant is now planned for 2021.

Spektakulum Mulne - Mittelaltermarkt in Mölln ll Aftermovie 2019
Jährlich veranstaltet Herzog Albrecht der Gute ein gar großartiges Gaudium vor den Toren der historischen Festung zu Mulne.
An drei Tagen können die Besucher und Besucherinnen Mittelalter pur erlebn und allerley Kurzweyl genießen. Zwischen Gaukelei und Musik bietet fahrendes Volk allerley Waren feil und Leckeres für Leib und Seele . Und auch das Lagerleben bietet spannende Einblicke, Informationen und tolle Mitmach-Aktionen für Groß und Klein an.
Das Spektakulum Mulne war 2019 erneut ein Erfolg und so öffnen sich die Pforten auch 2021 wieder. Vom 17. bis 19. September macht das Mittelalter Rast in Mölln und lädt alle Interessierten dazu ein vorbeizukommen.
