Lewis & Clark County Fairgrounds Campground in Helena Montana provides partial (30 amp electric) and primitive tent and RV camping in a designated campground on the fair property. The fairgrounds are well kept with the standard country fair provisions including horse stalls and riding areas. The fairgrounds are also home to a public park with playground equipment and picnic tables. Located in a quiet area the grounds can be very peaceful and with the reasonable nightly rate the park is a suitable choice for travelers passing through Helena (about 2 miles off Interstate 15). Water spigots are available on the property to fill up your tanks.

Picnic tables and fire rings are placed at each site. Registration is handled through the main office located next to the ticket booth at the main grandstand (the lot out front is large enough for any size rig to pull in and out of). The office is open weekdays until 5PM local time; an on-sight attendant is available outside that window.

All the sites are backins in the designated camping area. Dirt roads and site pads in the campground; the main fairgrounds roads are all paved. No dump station on site.
