An Incredible Afternoon @Hadley Wood - 1/9/20

Welcome back to another video from Spottersuk, Today we're Hadley Wood on the East Coast Mainline where we will be seeing services from Great Northern, Thameslink and LNER. Hadley Wood also hold services from Hull Trains and Grand Central but they do not feature in this video. Hadley Wood has always been a station that i have wanted to visit, and i have said that Quite a few times in recent weeks. However, due to the removal of the Intercity 225 Sets i felt as if i needed to have a shot at Seeing a set fly through the Station and luckily that is exactly what happened with 91119 Hauling a service bound for Kings Cross flies through the station at High Speeds which i have always wanted to see.

I'd like to give a Big shoutout to all the legendary drivers in this video as there are a lot of them! Hadley Wood is popular with Train Enthusiasts and the Drivers are aware of that so they’re extremely kind and Generous when it comes to tones.

If you have enjoyed the video please make sure to like and Subscribe to the Channel so we can hit 600 Subscribers before the End of the Month!

The London LOOP: Barnet to Cockfosters 10 November 2020

A short 3.5 mile section of the London Loop long distance footpath between Barnet and Cockfosters, going through the lovely Hadley Wood. The walk took place in good weather on Tuesday 10 November 2020.

Evening Trains at Hadley Wood, 13/09/2020 (1080p HD)

Hadley Wood is a station that I have visited before, but not had the most successful time. On the 13th September 2020 I visited the station once again and my visit was a lot more successful. Featured in this video is a Hull Trains Class 802 Paragon, Grand Central 180s and many other interesting Sunday workings on the ECML.

Not sure where my next video will be from, most likely Lincoln Central or Gatwick Airport.
Enjoy the video :)

Trains and disruption at Hadley Wood, 02/09/2020 (1080p HD)

Hadley Wood is a small station on the ECML just inside London. It has good views up and down the line, including through the tunnels, allowing for some great shots if you have optical zoom :)
My visit to Hadley Wood started out OK, then news came around of disruption in the Biggleswade area, where a Class 91 had brought down the wires, causing all services out of London Kings Cross to be cancelled or severely delayed by over 3 hours, meaning I didn't see as much as I hoped to here.
Nonetheless, Hadley Wood is a great station to come to (if there is no disruption of course!) and I do recommend it. Lots of tones too, including a very faint Darth Vader from a 717 towards the beginning.
My next video will be from Stevenage, a few stops down the line from Hadley Wood, which I visited a couple of days later when the disruption cleared up.
Enjoy the video :)

Trains_Planes_442417 is back with a new video for you guys! There are 2 videos from today's trip for you to enjoy, starting with this one!

My trip for today see's me at my first location of the day, on the South of the East Coast Main Line, at one of my favourite stations on the line. 𝗛𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗼𝗱 is the location for this video!

With Great Northern calling here every 10 minutes or so and with the East Coast Main Line stock, as well as Great Northern and Thameslink services going through, Hadley Wood is a great spot to be at; it's also quite a good one if you want to get some tones from the drivers!

Hadley Wood sure has changed however, since I was last there: 313s have been completely replaced with the new 717s and a very little amount of HSTs are around now as the Azumas (800/801s) are slowly but surely taking over!

Look out for the very unexpected visitor towards the end of the video: A TPE class 802!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
This video includes:
Grand Central: 180 | Great Northern: 365, 387 & 717 | (Brand New) Hull Trains: 802
LNER: 43, 82/91, 800 & 801 | Thameslink: 700 | Trans Pennine Express: 802 | EWS: 66

I apologise for the lateness of this and the next video!

Taplow, Watford Tunnels, Apsley, Hadley Wood & Tring (15-03-2023)

Considering it is 2023, it is quite surprising that there are days where plenty of 'heritage' can be found on the main line!
We start at Taplow, where we see two more Class 317 EMUs (317337 & 317338) head to Newport for scrapping behind Class 37, 37800. We then head to Watford Tunnels where we see two Class 50s (50049 & 50007) with translator vehicles headed to Leicester L.I.P. Next it's Apsley where we have two Class 90s (90046 & 90008) on a container train. A brief visit to Hadley Wood sees a Class 91 (91006) headed for Leeds and we conclude at Tring where there are several Class 319 workings as well as a Class 56 (56091) and two more unidentified Class 90s.

Trains at Hadley Wood (incl. Class 755!) 03/05/2021 (4K UHD)

Once again we return to Hadley Wood station, one of my local stations on the East Coast Main Line. A rainy bank holiday Monday brings with it lots of variety, including a Greater Anglia Class 755 going to Hornsey EMUD for wheel turning, a top and tail GBRf 66 heading up to Whitemoor from the engineering works at Kings Cross, as well as the Network Rail Flying Banana with ex-LNER 43299 and 43062 coming down from Heaton. Also featured is the now debranded 387105, and Hull Trains' 802305 once again in regular passenger service following their suspension of service due to the pandemic.
My next video will be from East Croydon on the Brighton Main Line.
Enjoy the video :)

Trains at Hadley Wood - 29/11/21

Welcome back to another video by Spottersuk! Today we are on The East Coast Mainline, with trains at Hadley Wood, one of the best stations along the East Coast Mainline especially in the southern region if you're a fan of passing trains and also the high possibility of train tones!

In this video you will see services from Thameslink, Great Northern, LNER, Hull Trains, Grand Central and also some Gatwick Express Liveried class 387's!

Hadley Wood is a station i have visited once before which was last summer and i absolutely fell in love with the place just for the incredible views the wide variety of traction, the fast passing trains and also the calling services which stop a fair few times an hour which really surprised me. I am ashamed that the two centre platforms are shut from an enthusiasts point of view however it is completely reasonable and makes sense!
