3D2N Illinois Summer Road Trip | Champaign to Gurnee
Nerdy and Cat planned a road trip from UIUC to Anderson Japanese Garden last week. We were 1 week late for the last peony blossom. Since it is a long drive, we decided to go Starved Rock State Park and Six Flags. The route planned was mostly away from the busy city as Nerdy is new to driving.
As it was 100 Fahrenheit during our trip, we did not take every ride in Six Flags (been there 11am to 4pm). I do not think we should spin and turn the whole day when someone needs to drive straight later on.
