All About Yamba | NSW Australia
Yamba is a popular holiday destination on the southern bank of the Clarence River in NSW, Australia.
Its name is presumed to be a local Yaegl Aboriginal word which either means carpet snake (yambah) or headland.
Yamba lighthouse is an iconic landmark which has lit the way for over 100 years. It provides a beautiful view from the surrounding grassland and is the perfect spot for whale watching when in season, and watching the full moon rise.
Yamba is known for its exceptional beaches which are ideal for swimming and surfing.
Yamba, the main beach in town, has a rock pool for safe swimming and is located on the southern side of the lighthouse. On the northern side of the lighthouse is Turner's Beach.
Another attraction nearby Yamba is Angourie.
Angourie Back Beach is located only 5 km south of Yamba.
Blue Pool, Green Pool, and Natural Rock Pool of Angourie are set in bushland behind the beach. The pools were created when a rock quarry was filled with freshwater from a subterranean spring. The quarry supplied the material for Yamba's breakwater.

Big Lap Vlog #02: Grafton, a purple beauty little gem & amazing camp spot for magical sunrise!
We have always wanted to go Grafton for jacaranda season but never had a chance. Due to interstate border closure we cannot travel anywhere except our own state NSW. Because the timing is so right, we cancelled travelling to outback NSW and opted for Grafton. So glad we did, Grafton is a beautiful town and the jacaranda was in full bloom when we arrived. It's picturesque.
We spent almost a week here and were loving it. First two nights we stayed at Glenwood Tourist park and three nights at the unpowered Jabour camping site. We love Jabour camping site, we found it on Wikicamps Australia. The camping ground is beautiful with a lot of space for us to park our van anywhere we like ❤.
P.S Justin is still learning flying the drone, hopefully with more practice he will be a pro in no time 🤣
