The Woodlands Country House in the town of Gorey
As newlyweds, Philomena and her husband John put in an exceedingly low bid on a very tumbledown Woodlands Farmhouse and it was many years before she found out why their offer had been accepted.
To hear why and enjoy intriguing tales of gold sovereigns, cursed families, and arranged marriages, you will have to go and stay and ask Philomena for a story session with tea or coffee and scones upon arrival.
What started out as a simple bed and breakfast has now grown into a very professional guesthouse.
Guests have a cozily cluttered parlor with an eclectic assortment of sizeable Victorian chairs.
The parlor opens up to an expansive dining room lit by two grand crystal chandeliers, which overlooks the lovely back garden.
The front garden is even more impressive: a grand sweep of lawn with shrubs and trees going down to the river and the tennis court.
All the smartly decorated bedrooms enjoy garden views and range in size from large family rooms to snug twins—all have electric blankets and small en suite shower or bathrooms with hairdryers.
Room 6 is a particularly spacious room overlooking the back garden.
In Wexford you can visit Wexford Heritage Park or Johnstown Castle Museum. To the north lies the Vale of Avoca.

Traveling to Jersey Channel Islands was really challenging from Istanbul :) It took totally 13 hours and cost 1.100 USD.I booked flight from Istanbul to London Stansted Airport by Pegasus airlines , Depart from Sabiha Gokcen Internationally Airport at 07:55 PM and Arrived at 10:00 PM and flight took 4 hours 5 min.
My second flight to Jersey unfortunatelly was another morning and different Airport : London City Airport to Jersey by British Airways, Depart at 07:55 AM , arrived at 09:00 AM flight took 1 hour 5 min.
And I had to travel from London Stansted Airport to London City Airport ; City Airport was closed at night so I had to wait 6 hours till morning, first bus to London City Airport was at 04:00 AM and it took around 40 min. and then had to take DLR to London City Airport at 05:00 AM. It took around 20 min.
Yeah it was totally challeging and exhausting journey :)
Jersey is the largest of the Channel Islands , Jersey is a lovely place with full of kind people ! I have visited my best friend for her wedding ceremony. I enjoyed so much beautiful beach and cliff views.

It's a small town with a lovely high street and it's nestled in the rolling hills over looking the Irish Sea to the West. We had a bit of rain for a few minutes but otherwise a lovely day.
