Canada Road Trip: Best Things To Do In Newfoundland
NEWFOUNDLAND IS AWESOME! In this video, we showcase the BEST things to do in Newfoundland, including St. John's, Gros Morne National Park, Trinity, Twillingate, and more!
Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to Newfoundland!
Newfoundland was our first province during the Road to 150, our 150-day road trip across Canada. We experienced icebergs, fjords, walking on the Earth's mantle, humpback whales, kitchen parties, and swimming in the Atlantic Ocean. But most of all, we fell in love with the people, which is a big part of what makes Newfoundland such a special place.

LUNENBURG TRAVEL GUIDE | 18 Things to do in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada
If you're into photography and you're looking for some cool photo ops Tannery road just before you hit the golf course is where to get the classic shot. But even if you're not into photography and you just want to enjoy a pretty sunset this is a nice spot and there's an area where you can park your car.
And for anyone interested in where we stayed i booked us a room at the mariner inn which is actually spread out across several buildings in the center of town. Our room was in the cranberry suites which is the bright fuchsia building over here i like that we were smack dab in the heart of Lunenburg.
And we could walk everywhere plus they also had a really nice breakfast that was served in the sun room in the main building. However my favorite part of this inn was riding the nautical slash underwater themed elevator complete with the whale and octopus - it's the little things.
And that is a wrap for our Lunenburg travel guide. It's crazy to think we did all of that in one day but yes it is possible. We stayed in town for an additional three days so we'll be sharing some fun day trips to Mahone bay , Lahave islands and more. If you enjoyed this video we invite you to give it a like hit that subscribe button and join us for the rest of our road trip across Nova Scotia. See you on the road.

Canada Road Trip: Best Things To Do In The Northwest Territories
In this video, we share some of the best things to do in the Northwest Territories, including Yellowknife, Inuvik, and Tuktoyaktuk!
Welcome to the NWT!
With more than one million square kilometres of land area and a population of less than 50,000, the Northwest Territories is about as wild as it gets. It's certainly not an easy area to visit (many places are fly-in, many roads are gravel, and distances are vast) but for those who make the effort, there are incredible things to experience.
With boreal forest, arctic tundra, some of Canada's greatest waterfalls, a vibrant indigenous culture, and boundless wilderness, this is an adventurer's paradise!
We explored the NWT from August 16 - September 1st, 2017!

Is Sydney, Nova Scotia worth visiting? (Exploring the heart of Cape Breton Island) | Canada 🇨🇦
You've probably never heard of Sydney, Nova Scotia. I can't blame you - it's remote location on its namesake harbour on the north coast of Cape Breton Island makes it one of the most hard-to-reach locations in Atlantic Canada. A long five hour drive from Halifax, this small town is technically the province’s second-largest city (now called the Cape Breton Regional Municipality), and is without a doubt the beating heart of Cape Breton Island. Here, the accents are almost Irish, with locals sounding closer to Newfoundlanders rather than their fellow Nova Scotians. This place is far off the beaten path, defined, and that seclusion and remoteness has only contributed to their unique culture, accent, and way of life.
Despite not having nearly the same bustle and cosmopolitan charm of Nova Scotia's capital city of Halifax, Sydney instead offers visitors its charming harbour, plenty of historic homes (some dating back to the 1700s!), excellent seafood and fish & chips, as well as oddities like the world’s largest fiddle, if you’re a fan of quirky roadside attractions. The surrounding area boasts green pastures, winding coastal drives, and amazing ocean vistas along with plenty of adorable B&Bs and guesthouses to relax at after a long day of sightseeing.
In this video, I take you on a short (and foggy!) tour around this small Nova Scotian town, taking in the idyllic harbourfront boardwalk before taking a walking tour around the town's historical streets. I also check out one of Sydney's most famous local cafes - Doktor Luke's - before winding my way back down to the water. The island is also home to some of the kindest locals on Earth, including one fellow who insisted that he drive me to neighbouring North Sydney, even though he wasn't going in that direction. Maritime hospitality at its finest, and those who have visited here will know that comes as no surprise.

Peggy’s Cove: Lighthouse and Village – Nova Scotia, Canada Travel 4K
We explore Peggy’s Cove in Nova Scotia, one of the most photographed sites in Canada and a popular tour from Halifax, in this 4K travel video captured on a Sony FX30. Its historic lighthouse is perched on a rocky outcrop called Peggy’s Point. And most charming is the fishing village along its small inlet. Also in town is a sculpture monument dedicated to Nova Scotia fisherman carved by William deGarthe, next to an art gallery of his works. Handheld video was captured off-season on a calm day just before Christmas (December 21, 2022).
