Viajé 2 horas y media, desde Beirut, la capital del Líbano, hasta Damasco, capital de Siria.
En este vídeo voy a ir a Damasco, la capital Siria. Describiré todo lo que pude ver en este lugar magnífico. Te mostraré lugares emblemáticos, calles, tiendas, restaurantes, y cosas curiosas que me fui encontrando en la capital de Siria.
Damasco es considerada una joya en oriente medio con más de 12.000 años de historia, lo que la convierte en la ciudad MÁS VIEJA O ANTIGUA DEL MUNDO, siempre habitada por los seres humanos.
Estar dentro de Damasco fue una experiencia abrumadora, desde que salimos del Líbano, hasta llegar a Siria... Entre el terrible calor del verano, lo que significaba caminar por las calles de la ciudad más antigua del mundo, y a eso, sumarle los tiempos que corren, donde Siria está pasando por una de las peores crisis del siglo XXI con el conflicto armado que lleva más de 11 años activo, definitivamente, una experiencia agotadora, que nunca olvidaré.
Siria, en la actualidad, se encuentra pasando una de las peores crisis humanitarias de nuestros tiempos, pero a pesar de toda la mala propaganda que recibimos de esta nación, he decido venir para ver con mis propios ojos qué es lo que sucede. Y poder compartir con vos, mis sensaciones y reflexiones al respecto.

From epic landscapes to monumental ruins, #Jordan allows us to reach out and touch the eternal and be at one with something far greater than ourselves.
The ancient Greeks knew Jordan’s capital, Amman, as Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love. Overlooking Amman is the Citadel, the city’s ancient core. Rising over the Citadel are the remaining pillars of the Temple of Hercules, a Roman temple that in its day dwarfed many in Ancient Rome.
From Amman, #journey north to Jerash, home to one of the largest concentrations of Roman ruins outside Italy. Then, continue north to Ajloun Castle, built to halt the Crusader armies as they rode down Jordan’s northern valley, hell-bent on Jerusalem.
Enter the gravel plains of the Eastern Desert and follow the Desert Castle Loop. For many, the highlight here is Qasr al-Azraq, where Lawrence of Arabia made his winter headquarters.
Travel south to Madaba, famed for the Madaba Map, one of the earliest depictions of the Holy Lands. Continue south along the Kings Highway, which once took Arabs to Mecca, and Israelites to the Promised Land.
Follow the hairpin road 1300 feet below sea level to the Dead Sea. Float in the saline waters and cover yourself in the same mineral-rich muds Cleopatra once enjoyed.
No visit to Jordan is complete without a visit to Petra. Emerge from the shadows of the Siq and gaze up at the Treasury, the greatest of all of Petra’s 500 tombs. Then continue south to explore the emptiness of Wadi Rum.

Entering America's Only Polygamist Town
This is one of the strangest stories I've ever told, and ironically, it takes place in my home state of Arizona.
The story takes place in a small rural town called Colorado City, where the FLDS church rules the land (Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) -- And I was guided by former member, Sam, who runs the amazing YouTube channel @GrowingUpinPolygamy.
In Colorado City, it's acceptable for men to be polygamists, or have multiple wives. Many have 3 or 4 wives, but the ruler of the community who is a God-like figure named Warren Jeffs, had 85 wives until he was thrown in prison on a life sentence for sexual assault on minors (among other charges).
Through Sam, I was able to get special access to this community and the things that I experienced will leave you speechless. I was even able to interview Warren Jeff's 65th wife -- who shares things that she never before shared on camera.

Иерусалим уже 11 лет, ежегодно становится центром проведения фестивалей Света, когда стены старого города превращаются в световые арт-объекты и инсталляции. Но в 2020 году, 12-й фестиваль Света в Иерусалиме к сожалению не состоялся. В 2021 году, в период с 21 февраля по 4 февраля в святом городе прошёл уникальный фестиваль световых представлений под названием - Вслед за светом. Световые композиции израильских художников разместились в 21 объектах города, среди которых: мост струн, стены старого города, музей Израиля и многие другие. Ведущие сюжета Павел и Лариса Платоновы, в сопровождении своей авторской музыки арт-группы Запад и восток подробно расскажут об этом прекрасном событии в городе Иерусалиме.
