Discover Soria an Amazing Hacienda in Central Mexico.

Guanajuato has many beautiful places to explore with serene villages and extraordinary landscapes. One of its hidden gems is the Hacienda de Soria. Take in this private tour and immerse yourself in the history of this hacienda founded in the Mexican Bajio in 1918. This remarkable place has gone through various stages of development. Beginning as a large producer of cotton fabric for the garment industry, it also produced small quantities of very finely woven cashmere.

Today, the mill continues to use its antique, yet advanced, machinery to manufacture some of the finest cashmere in the world. The hacienda is also a living community that is being refurbished for future projects to be open to the public. Visit its beautiful established gardens and tree-lined streets. Relax and enjoy a delicious lunch in its bucolic gardens.

After lunch we will be given a private demonstration of Molcajete creations by a Master from the village of Comonfort.

Join Travelian’s expert guides for this in-depth tour of Hacienda Soria. Ride in comfort and safety and enjoy a catered lunch in the lush hacienda gardens.

🇲🇽 I ATE MANTA RAY in GUAYMAS, SONORA! | Mexico's BEST SEAFOOD? | The Other Side of SAN CARLOS!

🇲🇽 GUAYMAS, SONORA - Welcome to Part 16 of my 2022 Mexico Travel series! Last time, we were in the spectacular San Carlos, a beautiful, lesser-known Mexican beach location in the state of Sonora (although becoming increasingly popular with expats in Mexico or those thinking about moving to Mexico).

Guaymas is located just 25-30 minutes from San Carlos on the local bus. You can reach Guaymas from either Hermosillo or Ciudad Obregón with the bus company, Tufesa (around 2 hours either way).

Sonora is the home to seafood (mariscos) in Mexico and is well known for its CAHUAMANTA (a broth-like caldo dish with manta ray). Yes, I ate manta ray! It's definitely an acquired taste! Comida Mexicana (Mexican food) is truly top tier. Is this Mexico's best seafood? There's also some interesting architecture throughout, from the historic centre, downtown and elsewhere. Unfortunately due to knocking myself unconscious that morning (!), I couldn't cover as much ground as I wanted to, but I hope this video gives you at least a brief insight into Guaymas!

Yes there are great beach locations in Mexico - Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, and so on, but you have to consider and Guaymas and San Carlos as alternative places to visit in Mexico for a beach vacation!

Nos HAN ADVERTIDO esto de SONORA! Pero NUNCA IMAGINAMOS VIVIRLO! San Carlos, Manga 2 y Guaymas.

Best Places to visit in Mexico - Travel Video

The different shades of blue paradise, the soft sand, the motherland of mariachi, and the place where history is not told by people, but by the country itself: Mexico is that mysterious spot that will enchant you through an abundant diversity.

An immense country both literally and figuratively speaking: 120 million people on a surface of about 20 European states together, Mexicans are living their Vida Loca in a cocktail of culture like nowhere else on the planet. You can either get lost in the jungle, both the urban, and the real one; discover the lonely beaches, as Mexico has over 10,000 km of coast; party in the streets on Mariachi music, or simply walk through an authentic Mexican village, a pueblo, where you can immerse yourself in indigenous culture, customs and traditions.

We were SCAMMED at a Toll Booth in Mexico!

We have to drive in Mexico back to the US border. Tolls, Temporary Vehicle Import Permit, scams & more
►Get Tangerine perks on Patreon:

It's our 2nd day of driving to the border. Today, we're dealing with scams in Mexico, turning in our TIP (Temporary Vehicle Import Permit) and visas, plus crossing the border from Mexico to the United States.

As Americans in Mexico or any expat for that matter, it's always prudent to keep an eye out for scams. If you come across a dishonest person who thinks you're an easy target, well, that person might try to scam you.

In this Mexico travel vlog, we're talking about tolls on Mexican roads, how someone tried to scam us, and some travel tips for traveling in Mexico.

ABOUT US (MADDIE & JORDAN)
In January 2018, we sold everything we owned in the US (except our husky Laska & what fit in our tiny, tangerine Prius C3) to travel the world—starting with Mexico. Since then, we've been making travel videos about our life in Mexico and the new experiences we encounter while traveling the world. If you'd like to join our shenanigans, subscribe to our YouTube channel. You can also poke around our social media to find out what we’re up to each week.
