La Antigua Veracruz. Mexico travel guide.
La Antigua is regarded as the first real Spanish town in Mexico. In the town stands the house of Hernán Cortés, a popular tourist attraction. The oldest church in the Americas was founded here by Cortés in the early 16th century. Hernán Cortés' house, pictured below, was built in 1523. The house was constructed with coral and local stone but now is completely covered with roots and vines. La Antigua also has one of the oldest Spanish structures in Mexico, the Edificio del Cabildo, also built in 1523, which seated the first ayuntamiento or city council. Down by the river stands an old tree supported by chains, and it is believed that Hernán Cortés moored his boats there.

The peacefulness of an early Sunday morning can be felt in this video taken at the mouth of the river (Boca del Rio) in Veracruz, Mexico.
Most Sundays when I am living and working from apartment in Boca del Rio, I like to ride along the Gulf of Mexico to the boca del rio, the Jamapa River. There I can sit, relax, and contemplate whatever happens to be on my mind as I take in the rolling ocean waves curling in against the outflow of the river emptying into the gulf. It's peaceful, tranquil, and except for the sound of the water, quiet.

Seguimos caminando 10km por calles y áreas turísticas de Veracruz y Boca del Río. 2022 4K 60fps 2/17
Parte 2. Después de visitar los estadios Luis Pirata Fuente y Beto Ávila continuamos nuestro recorrido. Aquí les traigo más videos de mis caminatas por las calles del Puerto Jarocho. Fui a visitar los estadios de Fútbol y Baseball para ver cómo se encuentran. y luego creo que me dieron más ganas de seguir caminando por que llegue hasta la playa por el Blvd Ávila Camacho y luego seguí y me fui por todo el Bv Adolfo Ruiz Cortines hasta llegar a Plaza Mocambo y seguí caminando hasta llegar a Plaza Américas y Centro comercial Andamar y seguí caminando por toda la orilla de calles atrás del Hotel Mocambo por el mar y luego salí al Blvd Miguel Alemán y seguí caminando hasta llegar a El Morro. Lo que fue una corta caminada fueron 3 horas caminando y como un poco más de 10 kilómetros y quedó muy bonito. Espero les guste 😉.

Booking Entertainment in Veracruz, Mexico
I never thought I would be booking entertainment in Mexico. But here I am making arrangements to book a dance troop to perform in the port of Veracruz.
For most of my life back in the US I worked in the entertainment industry as a performer and as a booking agent. And now to have the opportunity to book a dance troop to perform here is like old times.
Follow me as I take you to the downtown area of the city of Veracruz and give you the scoop as to what I am up to.
