Visitamos el Mercado Central de Atarazanas, el principal mercado de abastos de la ciudad de Málaga España.El mercado se encuentra situado donde en sus inicios, se disponían unos astilleros nazaríes durante el siglo XIV, utilizándose durante su historia para diferentes funciones, ya que ha sido almacén, hospital militar e incluso un cuartel.
La última reforma que le da la imagen actual y remodelada al edificio se realizó entre 2008 y 2010. Dando lugar a un impresionante edificio, con una gran vidriera en un extremo a juego con toda la variedad gastronómica de su interior. Y pensarás, ¿De donde procede el nombre de atarazanas? Pues así es como se llamaban los astilleros de la Málaga musulmana.
El mercado cuenta en su interior con 260 puestos, más del 90% son empresas familiares, muchas ya de segunda o tercera generación que llevan los propios autónomos sin empleados. La fruta y verdura de temporada o el pescado son los puestos más madrugadores, ya que empiezan su jornada comprando en Mercamálaga o en las lonjas el mejor género del día.
Se encuentra ubicado en el top 10 de los mejores mercados del mundo. El periódico The Guardian, resalta tres elementos del Mercado de Atarazanas en los que se ha basado para otorgar esta mención al mercado malagueño. Primero ha puesto el foco en su enorme y peculiar vidriera que decora una de las fachadas del edificio y que hace de éste mercado un lugar único. En segundo lugar, resalta la gran variedad de productos frescos que puedes encontrar, así como la estética que conforma en su interior. Por último destaca los dos bares situados en la entrada principal de la calle Atarazanas.
El mercado aparece en el listado junto a otros reconocidos establecimientos de Seatle (el Pike Place), Singapur (el Lau Pa Sat Food), Berlín (el Turkish), Jerusalén (el Machane Yehuda), entre otros en Tenerife, India, Melbourne y Fez.
Si estás de visita por Málaga y quieres ver el Mercado, lo tendrás muy fácil ya que está ubicado en el centro de la ciudad a escasos metros de Calle Larios o de la Alameda Principal.

In 1886 the Maritime Station of Zoology and Experimental Botany was created by royal decree , which in 1889 settled in Santander and resulted in the first antecedent of the current museum. In 1948 was founded the Museum of the Real Astillero de Guarnizo , second museum precedent. The current museum was built between 1976 and 1978 , and was handed over to the Diputación Provincial de Santander in 1982 , having been inaugurated in 1981 .

🇪🇸 El Faro de Cabo Mayor preside la entrada a la Bahía de Santander. Privilegiado balcón al mar y a la Ciudad, es hoy una de las construcciones más emblemáticas y sugerentes para los ciudadanos y visitantes de Santander.
Situada en el extremo noreste de la Ciudad, la zona en la que se localiza el Faro de Cabo Mayor forma parte de un área más extensa constituida por los promontorios de Cabo Mayor y Cabo Menor. La configuración física de este espacio viene definida por su particular geomorfología, marcada por las playas y acantilados de su borde costero y un accidentado relieve con cotas máximas de 50 metros de altura sobre el nivel del mar.
Emplazada históricamente en la periferia de la ciudad, el área de Cabo Mayor y Cabo Menor ha acogido usos y funciones relevantes: señal marítima, enclave defensivo, hipódromo, camping, parque público, campo de golf, hito turístico, etc., constituyéndose en uno de sus espacios de mayor variedad paisajística y ambiental.
