The Dark Sides Of Living In IRELAND
Living in Ireland comes with significant challenges despite its high GDP per capita and natural beauty. Economic concerns, including infrastructure struggles and job scarcity outside Dublin, drive 70% of young people to consider leaving. High living expenses, including costly fuel and housing, add to the burdens. Healthcare waits are long, and Irish customs, like tea consumption and slang usage, may be surprising. Ireland's unique approach to marriage and strict smoking bans are notable. The country's unpredictable weather and complex driver's license process pose additional hurdles. Yet, Ireland remains appealing for its education, safety, job opportunities, and welcoming community.

Baltimore County MD | North Point Road
Let's take a POV Driving rip in Baltimore County, Maryland! We'll actuall start inside the Baltimore City limits on US Route 40 -Pulaski Highway. We'll then continue our road trip south on North Point Blvd and North Point Road through the Dundalk area- crossing into Sparrows Point and Egdemere as well. We'll continue all the way to North Point State Park. This park is also the location of the defunct Bay Shore Amusement Park from the 1940s.
There are a few specific goals of Travel Towner:
1. To take fun POV (“Point-of-View”) videos of scenic drives, highways, and roadways so you can virtually travel anywhere you like; or look back at a time when you were younger.
2. Document a fun walking tour of a specific park, attraction, or point of interest so you can see what's it's like to really be there.
3. Showcase vintage footage from yesteryear to show today's viewers what is may have been like back in 19- something something! If you have any vintage footage of past attractions, parks, road trips or anything interesting from the USA? Contact me and let’s feature it here!
4. Just for Fun. These are videos that are funny or interesting in some way that I think everyone will enjoy!
Please give a thumbs up if you like taking a POV Road Trip or love POV driving.

Another big part of the channel is to document a piece of Americana… at a certain point in time. Wouldn’t it be cool to go back to where you lived, 20 or 30 years ago, and take a ride through your hometown? As more roadway drives, walking tours, and vintage trips are added, it builds history so future viewers can go “back in time” and see what it was like, back then.
Roadtripping and traveling are uniquely American pastimes- and we should preserve it’s history- so future generations can appreciate the Freedom of the Road.

Dundalk Maryland Near Baltimore City Line
Driving through Dundalk Maryland near the Baltimore city line. The area is known for traditionally being a blue collar area with large amounts of manufacturing and maritime industries. In the past 50 years, much of the manufacturing has moved overseas, but the maritime industry remains strong. The Port of Baltimore is one of the busiest east coast ports and among the top 20 in the nation. Today Dundalk neighborhoods are a mixed bag, some are thriving while others struggle with many of the same problems that areas across the city line in Baltimore deal with... primarily drugs.

PLANNING A ROAD TRIP IN IRELAND? | We Traveled the NORTHEAST in 4 DAYS | Where to go
#ROADtripIRELAND #NORTHERNIRELAND #VANLIFE
We drove from SOUTHEAST IRELAND TO NORTHERN IRELAND. We basically went around NORTHEAST of IRELAND in 4 days.
In this video, you'll see us showing you BELFAST CITY as our first stop. We couldn't miss visiting TITANIC BELFAST then we proceeded to CARRICKFERGUS CASTLE to take some snaps of the place. After that, we then called it a day and went to our booked self-catering accommodation QUARRY LOFT in County Antrim for 2 nights.
The next day, we went to WILD IRELAND in County Donegal where we have seen wild animals err they're not really wild like what you think of course. They're being taken care of by the guys minding the sanctuary. It was a fun visit with the whole family. The same day, we had our lunch in LONDONDERRY or DERRY as what's it's called. We walked the entire amazingly intact WALLED CITY. Then we ended the day visiting ANTRIM CASTLE GARDENS before heading to bed.
On the 3rd day as we headed back to the REPUBLIC OF IRELAND, we got up early and went to MUSSENDEN TEMPLE but first, we went to see DOWNHILL BEACH which is just below the MUSSENDEN TEMPLE whereby it was used as one of the scenes in the infamous HBO's GAME OF THRONES TV series. We enjoyed the walk along the beach and felt de-stressed. Indeed nature has its way! So, we then proceeded to our hotel in Dublin City and called it a day coz we were so tired after driving around.
We woke up fresh the following day (4th day) and went to MALAHIDE CASTLE AND GARDENS. We got the tickets as walk-ins. The kids enjoyed the BUTTERFLY HOUSE and had fun SOLVING THE PUZZLES in the MALAHIDE FAIRY TRAIL. Once the trail was done, we went into the MALAHIDE CASTLE TOUR and learned the history of the said place. It was interesting with a twist of a fairy story to accommodate the little ones in the tour. Before coming out of the castle we decided to fill up some calories at AVOCA RESTAURANT inside the castle grounds.
Just before calling it a day, as we head home we went through the WICKLOW MOUNTAINS. Even it was a long way home since it was a gorgeous evening it was indeed worth it the whole time we were up there! We also accidentally saw the film location of VIKINGS the TV series.
It was indeed a fun-filled 4 days of driving experience a truly ROAD TRIP in IRELAND! We can't wait for the next time!
THANKS A MILLION FOR THE SUPPORT GUYS! :)

Here is the second of several rides to, from, and around Dundalk in SE Baltimore County. In this installment, I head out from Watersedge Park (at the end of Dundalk Ave), head past the Dundalk Marine Terminal, briefly head back into the City to break at Fort Holabird Park, then back into the County to Stansbury Park. Stansbury Park has a very nice lake in it that I take rest at. I traveled through the Baltimore County area of Dundalk, and the City neighborhood of Saint Helena.
