com.

5. Sighișoara is an enchanting city located in the historic district of Transylvania in Romania. Its history dates back to the 1100s which makes the place perfect for history buffs. The small town with its ancient churches and walled town center looks a lot like those you’d see in fairy tales. The old Saxon city is a UNESCO World Heritage site composed of only three main streets, so the entire place is easy to explore.
Also within this walled town is a restaurant called “Casa Dracula” the birthplace of Vlad Tepes more popularly known in history as Vlad the Impaler or yes Dracula in pop culture. Many believe Bram Stoker’s Dracula was based on this Romanian historical figure with a penchant for impaling enemies on stakes and displaying them for everyone to see.
4. Located three to four kilometers away from the Mostar airport, Blagaj is a quaint little village perfect for those looking for a peaceful retreat. It is famous for its Dervish monastery that sits at the foot of a cliff amidst a mesmerizing river that seems to flow out from the foot of the mountain. The monastery was founded during the height of the Ottoman empire around 600 years ago.
Numerous restaurants line the side of the river where you can enjoy local cuisine and savor the serene ambiance of the place. There are also other shops in the area you can explore. The site is a picturesque tourist spot that has become Herzegovina's tourist center.
3. Mysterious Bran castle is Romania’s most famous castle and home to the notorious Walachian Prince Vlad Tepes a.k.a. Vlad the Impaler. The place is known throughout the world as Dracula’s Castle since it’s is believed that Bram Stoker used the castle as inspiration for Dracula’s fortress. This enchanting medieval structure sits imposingly atop a 200-foot cliff in the Transylvanian Alps.
Its location atop a cliff overlooking the towns below is both dramatic and imposing. The main draw of this gothic fortress is its historical significance and mysteriously eerie appeal. It is one of Romania’s most treasured tourist attractions.
2. There are several fascinating cave monasteries throughout Moldova that were hand-carved from the sides of limestone cliffs. Many scientists believe that there are more cave monasteries than are currently known. Among the most well known in Moldova are the Tipova (Rezina district), Saharna (Rezina district), Butuceni (Orhei district), Japca (Floresti district); Cosauti (Soroca district), Calaraseuca (Ocnita district), Molovata (Dubasari district), and Soroca.
Carved on the side of the cliffs these monasteries overlook vast bodies of water and are composed of inner chambers and interlinked cells built into the side of the mountain. Most of these intriguing structures date back to as far as the 11th century.
1. Tallinn is one of the most beautiful yet underrated cities in Europe. It’s winding cobblestone steps, beautiful church bell towers, and charming medieval Old Town make it an ideal destination for tourists who have gone weary of other more popular and expensive tourist destinations located West of Europe.
Tallinn is home to Kalamaja, a charming fishermen’s village that features the biggest harbor in Estonia and the Old Town with its beautiful cobblestone streets lined with small quirky shops. Visitors can wander around the narrow streets, enchanting courtyards, and cafes like the Maiasmokk that has been serving scrumptious Estonian meals since 1864.

MAP OF TRANSNISTRIA [ with facts ] [
Transnistria, officially the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR), is an unrecognised breakaway state internationally recognised as part of Moldova. Transnistria is mostly located in most of the narrow strip of land between the Dniester river and the Moldovan–Ukrainian border, although it also controls land at the river's other bank. Its capital and largest city is Tiraspol. Transnistria has been recognised by only three other unrecognised or partially recognised breakaway states: Abkhazia, Artsakh, and South Ossetia. Transnistria is officially designated by the Republic of Moldova as the Administrative-Territorial Units of the Left Bank of the Dniester (Romanian: Unitățile Administrativ-Teritoriale din stînga Nistrului)or as Stînga Nistrului (Left Bank of the Dniester) under Russian military occupation.
The region's origins can be traced to the Moldavian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic which was formed in 1924 within the Ukrainian SSR. During World War II, the Soviet Union took parts of the Moldavian ASSR, which was dissolved, and of the Kingdom of Romania's Bessarabia to form the Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic in 1940. The present history of the region dates to 1990, during the dissolution of the Soviet Union, when the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic was established in hopes that it would remain within the Soviet Union should Moldova seek unification with Romania or independence, the latter occurring in August 1991. Shortly afterwards, a military conflict between the two parties started in March 1992 and concluded with a ceasefire in July of the same year.
As part of the ceasefire agreement, a three-party (Russia, Moldova, Transnistria) Joint Control Commission supervises the security arrangements in the demilitarised zone, comprising 20 localities on both sides of the river.[citation needed] Although the ceasefire has held, the territory's political status remains unresolved: Transnistria is an unrecognised but de facto independent presidential republic with its own government, parliament, military, police, postal system, currency, and vehicle registration Its authorities have adopted a constitution, flag, national anthem, and coat of arms. After a 2005 agreement between Moldova and Ukraine, all Transnistrian companies that seek to export goods through the Ukrainian border must be registered with the Moldovan authorities. This agreement was implemented after the European Union Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine (EUBAM) took force in 2005. Most Transnistrians have Moldovan citizenship, but many also have Russian, Romanian, or Ukrainian citizenship. The main ethnic groups are Russians, Moldovans/Romanians, and Ukrainians.Transnistria is landlocked and borders Bessarabia (the region the Republic of Moldova is based on, for 411 km, 255 miles) to the west, and Ukraine (for 405 km, 250 miles) to the east. It is a narrow valley stretching north–south along the bank of the Dniester river, which forms a natural boundary along most of the de facto border with Moldova.
The territory controlled by the PMR is mostly, but not completely, coincident with the left (eastern) bank of Dniester. It includes ten cities and towns, and 69 communes, with a total of 147 localities (counting the unincorporated ones as well). Six communes on the left bank (Cocieri, Molovata Nouă, Corjova, Pîrîta, Coșnița, and Doroțcaia) remained under the control of the Moldovan government after the War of Transnistria in 1992, as part of the Dubăsari District. They are situated north and south of the city of Dubăsari, which itself is under PMR control. The village of Roghi of Molovata Nouă Commune is also controlled by the PMR (Moldova controls the other nine of the 10 villages of the six communes).
On the west bank, in Bessarabia, the city of Bender (Tighina) and four communes (containing six villages) to its east, south-east, and south, on the opposite bank of the river Dniester from the city of Tiraspol (Proteagailovca, Gîsca, Chițcani, and Cremenciug) are controlled by the PMR.
The localities controlled by Moldova on the eastern bank, the village of Roghi, and the city of Dubăsari (situated on the eastern bank and controlled by the PMR) form a security zone along with the six villages and one city controlled by the PMR on the western bank, as well as two (Varnița and Copanca) on the same west bank under Moldovan control. The security situation inside it is subject to the Joint Control Commission rulings.
The main transportation route in Transnistria is the road from Tiraspol to Rîbnița through Dubăsari. North and south of Dubăsari . #map #transnistria #maps nato map here

Moldova (/mɒlˈdoʊvə/ (About this soundlisten), sometimes UK: /ˈmɒldəvə/),[11][12][13] officially the Republic of Moldova (Romanian: Republica Moldova), is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe.[14] It is bordered by Romania to the west and Ukraine to the north, east, and south.[15] The capital city is Chișinău.
Most of the Moldovan territory was a part of the Principality of Moldavia from the 14th century until 1812, when it was ceded to the Russian Empire by the Ottoman Empire (to which Moldavia was a vassal state) and became known as Bessarabia. In 1856, southern Bessarabia was returned to Moldavia, which three years later united with Wallachia to form Romania, but Russian rule was restored over the whole of the region in 1878. During the 1917 Russian Revolution, Bessarabia briefly became an autonomous state within the Russian Republic, known as the Moldavian Democratic Republic. In February 1918, the Moldavian Democratic Republic declared independence and then integrated into Romania later that year following a vote of its assembly. The decision was disputed by Soviet Russia, which in 1924 established, within the Ukrainian SSR, a Moldavian autonomous republic (MASSR) on partially Moldovan-inhabited territories to the east of Bessarabia. In 1940, as a consequence of the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact, Romania was compelled to cede Bessarabia to the Soviet Union, leading to the creation of the Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic (Moldavian SSR), which included the greater part of Bessarabia and the westernmost strip of the former MASSR (east of the Dniester River).
On 27 August 1991, as the dissolution of the Soviet Union was underway, the Moldavian SSR declared independence and took the name Moldova.[16] The constitution of Moldova was adopted in 1994. The strip of the Moldovan territory on the east bank of the Dniester has been under the de facto control of the breakaway government of Transnistria since 1990.
Due to a decrease in industrial and agricultural output following the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the service sector has grown to dominate Moldova's economy and is over 60% of the nation's GDP. Its economy is the poorest in Europe in per capita terms[15] and has the lowest Human Development Index in the continent.
Moldova is a parliamentary republic with a president as head of state and a prime minister as head of government. It is a member state of the United Nations, the Council of Europe, the World Trade Organization (WTO), the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), the GUAM Organization for Democracy and Economic Development, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC).

MAP OF TRANSNISTRIA
hello my friends. this is a map of Transnistria. On the west bank, in Bessarabia, the city of Bender (Tighina) and four communes (containing six villages) to its east, south-east, and south, on the opposite bank of the river Dniester from the city of Tiraspol (Proteagailovca, Gîsca, Chițcani, and Cremenciug) are controlled by Transnistria.
The localities controlled by Moldova on the eastern bank, the village of Roghi, and the city of Dubăsari that are situated on the eastern bank and controlled by Transnistria form a security zone along with the six villages and one city controlled by transnistria on the western bank, as well as two , (Varnița and Copanca) , on the same west bank that are under Moldovan control. The security situation inside it is subject to the Joint Control Commission rulings.
The main transportation route in Transnistria is the road from Tiraspol to Rîbnița through Dubăsari. North and south of Dubăsari it passes through the lands of the villages controlled by Moldova (Doroțcaia, Cocieri, Roghi, while Vasilievca is entirely situated east of the road). Conflict erupted on several occasions when transnistria prevented the villagers from reaching their farmland east of the road.
