Neckarburg, also called Hinterburg, is a departed castle on an elongated circulating hill in a loop of the Neckar River near the municipality of Villingendorf in the district of Rottweil, Germany.The hilltop castle was built in the 8th century, given as a gift to the monastery of St. Gall in 793 in the possession of the Alemannic Count Berthold, and from 1315 came into the possession of Reinher I of Rüti. Later, the castle was owned by the Counts of Sulz, was rebuilt into a Renaissance castle in the 16th century and demolished in 1580.
The surrounding walls, which were restored in 1984, are still preserved from the former castle complex.
Below the castle ruins stands the Neckarburg wooden bridge, built in 1951.

Villingen-Schwenningen is located in the southwest of Baden-Württemberg. With 85,000 inhabitants, the twin town of Baden-Württemberg, which emerged from the municipal reform in 1972, is a regional center and university location as well as the county seat and largest city in the Black Forest-Baar district. It is also the administrative seat of the Black Forest-Baar-Heuberg region.The district of Villingen was an independent imperial city in the Holy Roman Empire from 1218 to 1283 and has been the imperial eagle since then as a coat of arms. As a heraldic component, this found its way into today's coat of arms of the twin city.
Villingen-Schwenningen is the largest municipality in Germany with a double name.
Zauberwald Pfad in Bernau, im Hochschwarzwald - zwischen Wichtel, Bohlen & Waldschrat
Schon von weitem sehen die Kinder den Waldschrat mit dem Zauberwald Banner. Schnurstracks geht’s daher vom Parkplatz direkt Richtung Waldrand.🪵 Der riesige Waldschrat weist uns den Weg, direkt hinein in den Schwarzwald. Die Holzhackschnitzel weisen uns den Weg.
🌟 Am Wegesrand finden die Kids die ersten Wichtel. Kurz danach kraxeln die Kinder schon über ein kleines Moor auf einem doch recht großen alten Baum.
🏞 Ab hier geht’s auf die Holzbohlen. Es ist herrlich auf den Bohlen zum Laufen, während die Kinder vor und zurück hopsen.
Es geht direkt weiter, denn das Wasserrad zieht die Kinder in ihren Bann. Währenddessen gönnen wir uns auf der Holzbank eine kurze Pause während die Kinder mit dem Wasser läppern.
Überall im Wald sind Wichtel von den Bernauern Kindern hingestellt, das sieht einfach witzig aus. Über die Baumtreppe geht’s kurz danach auf die nächste Bohlen Etappe.
🦔 Es wird knifflig, denn wir suchen die Tiere im Wald. Die Kids haben einen riesen Spaß und lassen nicht locker, ehe sie das letzte Tier im Unterholz gefunden haben.
Ob gewollt oder nicht, aber bei der nächsten Station wird geklettert. Was für ein Spaß, für kleine und auch für große Kinder.
Vorbei am Hexenhäuschen und nochmal ein Bohlenweg geht’s dann wieder zurück zum Parkplatz. Eher zum Einkehren. Ganz hinten gibt es eine riesige Wellenbank. Käffchen in der Sonne, währen die Kinder mit Essen beschäftigt sind. Ein herrlicher Ausflug mit allem, was dazu gehört.

Auf dem Smartphone seht ihr das Video auch im Hochkantformat - ganz normal wie auf Insta, Tiktok und co. Spannend, oder?Wir zeigen euch hier ein Kurzvideo zum Rheinfall in Schaffhausen. Dort zu stehen und zu sehen wie die Wassermassen herunter donnern und an einem vorbei schießen ist nicht von dieser Welt. Das Wasser ist dort nicht nur gewaltig, es hat eine ganz besondere Anziehung.
